Friendly hotel
billporon 17/08/2015 10:44Very convenient for the metro with obliging staff.Room clean and comfortable. I travelled with teenage children and despite the reputation of the northern line this area of Paris does not feel threatening.No WI fi however.

Basic but comfortable
KG Oon 14/12/2014 15:33Our low-cost room for two with private bathroom was completely suitable for our needs: somewhere to keep our stuff, sleep, and get clean while spending a couple of days at heavy metal concerts at Rue Oberkampf (on the same metro line) and the nearby Cité de la Musique.
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the price was right, and the sound-proofing on the windows worked well. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room, this is probably the wrong choice - accommodation is comfortable enough, but not stylish or particularly spacious. Our bathroom was also inexplicably lacking in bath plugs, although that wasn't a problem for us, as we used the shower.
Breakfast isn't worth paying extra for unless you REALLY like empty carbs, but there's a convenient supermarket next door and a boulangerie around the corner.
We'll definitely consider using L'Auberge du Cheval Noir for future gig trips - it's ideal for our requirements.

stevenE6941EJon 12/10/2014 15:55We arrived at the hotel to find scum bags and junkies at the bar hotel. Area is crawling. Unsafe for women or children. I had prepaid the room and they wouldn't refund me . . . I am very happy to suggest hotel park neuilly. Two stops from the arc. 90 per night if you call them, breakfast included. The cheval noir is closer to hell than Paris!

It was so near to the metro station so you can go to paris in something like ( i dont know.. maybe) 30 min in metro. And we try also to go to paris walking and it was not so far and the towns were so beautiful and romantics.
the people of the hotel were sincerely kind and aprociable.

So. If you need a place just for rest, cheap and easy for going to paris: this hotel il perfect for you.
