Sukey51on 01/11/2016 12:47Great small hotel recently renovated. Small but comfortable rooms. Wifi not adequate but free. I wrote my hotel review on the restaurant section so I should say now that the restaurant is fabulous. We had an exquisite meal of stuffed guinea fowl. A bit pricey but worth it.
Great little find covenient off the A75
PerryFrasticon 12/10/2016 16:57Classic family-run hotel on the high street in the town, complete with lorries and other noisy traffic charging by while you have a beer outside - very French! Clean & comfortable. Decor a little quirky, but seen worse. Great little restaurant out back, traditional french country cuisine with superb service, but not cheap as such. Very convenient for those wanting a break on the Cote d'Azur run.

This review is centred on the Restaurant within.
As with many visits in the past, the food is good solid home cooked French, with wonderful cheeses and all that is expected from local fare.
It is local and regional food so if you are seeking more 'known' dishes perhaps best to check the menu before going in. However, the service is good, prices are fair and you will not leave hungry.
Unique slice of France
Peter Con 14/10/2015 17:33A one night stopover returning from the Alps. Quiet location in very attractive village. Friendly, welcoming staff, large room with view of the château and most importantly, a comfortable bed. We had a superb, unhurried meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Even the car was under cover for the first time ever! All in all quite a find. The slightly bizarre decor just added to the ambience.

Lynn Fon 14/10/2015 16:57We have stayed here several times because the hotel is very conveniently situated, handy for the mototorway but quiet. The rooms are basic and decoratively very tired, but the beds are comfortable and the bedding is clean. We have always found the staff helpful and efficient. As one review says, the restaurant is closed on Mondays, which is quite common in France. Stay if you can when the restaurant is open because the food is of a much better standard than the rooms. The private parking is very useful
