We went here as an overnight stop on route to Bilbao. The rooms are excellent, well appointed, comfortable and very large. Everything we required. The restaurant chef is the owner and is jus good quality and at a price that is a fraction of what you would expect to pay for the standard of food served. 5 courses of excellence for 26 euros. Each course was explained well and as one of our party is vegetarian the chef came out to explain what he had made for him. Overall the owners, who only speak a few words or English, made us feel welcome and were happy to assist us in every way.

Lovely room set in a separate building to main hotel. Lots of thoughtful comforts: toiletries, tea and coffee in room, chilled water in minibar. Evening meal in restaurant was tasty and well prepared. Free wifi. Swimming pool. Sun terrace.

Make sure that you go to the right Beaumont Pied De Boeuf !

There are two, 48km apart and both have a place called the Cheval Blanc. The hotel was very helpful in guiding us in after a long drive and incredibly welcoming when we got there. It is a gem of simplicity and comfort. In a very quiet village so no detectable nightlife but with a food like theirs that wasn't an issue. Staff very friendly, family atmosphere and even the chef came out to chat after dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything good, sometimes exceptional. Familiar atmosphere. A little bit in the middle of somewhere but you won't find busloads of tourists here. Not cheap (of course) but certainly not at all overpriced for the quality you'll find on your plates. I can only recommend.

Great dinner

We stayed one night and had a wonderful dinner. They offered different menus with several options and different prices. Our one included entrees, main courses, cheese and desserts. We loved everything. The only thing we were disappointed with was the size of their aperitif cocktails...the room was adequate, it seemed a bit small as it looked like the bathroom and toilet had been built later, which ended up reducing the sice of the bedroom. The location was very quite and charming.
