Do not stay here, the manager is a thief.

I spent 2 nights here and upon arrival was asked for a 900 peso deposit. I booked a tour with the hotel and a bus to el nido. When the bus arrived on 3rd day I tried to check out and recover my deposit. After I was questioned 5 times about my payment on Agoda, for which I showed proof on my phone, and after the staff had spent 20 minutes 'upstairs on the computer' the manager was called. He then proceeded to tell me I had to print off a copy of my booking to to get my deposit back. After 4 months of travelling using Agoda, this was a first. I asked him how I was supposed to print the receipt and he said it wasn't his problem. I told him that was stealing and he proceeded to verbally abuse. I'm still in the process of trying to resolve the issue, but I would advise anyone against staying here.
Unfortunately this is the first bad review I've had to write on my trip.

Clean, and nice staff

The hotel is a nice stay close to the airport and the baywalk. It is less noisy as the places closer to the main road. Occasionally the planes fly directly above the hotel, but not during the night. The staff surprised us when they approached us to reduce the hotel room price after we had already paid. Also they paid for the tricycle transfer to the airport. They also offer a decent breakfast. The room itself was clean, however, our bathroom was unfortunately not so great, since the shower flooded the whole bathroom and the water could not drain.

Neat, clean, cheap

What more can one ask of a budget hotel except for these. Airconditioning worked. No breakfast. But at these prices, you don't expect. Only soap and towels provided for the same reason. One can purchase shampoo sachets from the reception. Friendly owner too. Nice views on the back side. Front is garish and pure concrete.

Worth staying again

After 2 years, we are back in Puerto Princesa for another dragonboat race. Still our hotel of choice because it's budget-friendly and because of the proximity from the Baywalk area. This year we got to stay in the their new building. We got the room at the 2nd floor good for 4 persons. Hot and cold shower, basic tolietries and towels included, flat screen tv with cable. No cabinet for clothes but they have this mobile clothes rack available. And there are more choices in their breakfast menu :)

Since it's a family run hotel, it's very homey and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Might as well stay here everytime we go to Puerto Princesa :)

Reasonably priced

Room with a balcony 800P per night, so ok price for PPC on my opinion. The hotel is located on a pretty quiet side street, so sleeping was easy. Also the room had A/C.
Free wi-fi in the lobby.
Hotel reception also arranged van tickets to El Nido for us and a pick-up from the hotel.
Only problem of the place is basically that that the water from the shower doesn´t go where it is suppose to go. So there´s always water on the bathroom floor. And in a long run that will ruin the walls and start to grow mold. So maybe after year or two you don´t want to stay here again.
