Mixed Feelings
Snowski75on 03/07/2017 04:37Lets start out with the positives... clean room, service was above average, location is convenient to downtown and the price point was fine. I booked this via hotwire and i was expecting embassy, double tree, etc. These are usually great for families because they have a pool. This place has no pool, so for families i would avoid. It would be great for business travelers and is attached to the convention center. Note: If you are booking this in next month from this review, be prepared to wait 10 minutes in the lobby for the elevator. One goes up every 8-10 minutes and will be fairly full, so expect another 5 minutes stopping at every floor to let people off. Apparently 1 elevator is down for modernization, so avoid booking here for a few months. This alone made my experience very frustrating and so i can only give it 3 stars based on my experience.
Wedding in Hot Springs
kevinpQ9248DRon 03/07/2017 01:10We stayed at the HHS for a wedding this weekend. The hotel has been recently updated. All the floor coverings are hard (no rug or carpet) so bring your house shoes. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are too. Parking is a block away in a parking garage but there is valet available for an additional cost. Breakfast is good, complimentary and lots of choices so that is nice. Property was very full for a convention so elevators were slow and made frequent stops - not a knock on the hotel but a reality.
Nice weekend getaway.
843lesliepon 29/06/2017 18:16Easy reservation process. Got a nice upgrade during check-in. Staff was prompt and responsive to our needs. Nice amenities. Centrally located to local attractions. Plenty of parking space adjacent to the hotel.

The food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great and affordable. I hosted my family reunion there and Jamila, Taylor, Phillip, and Leon were great! They assisted my family with all of our needs and were are appreciative.

before it was renovated and when it was named something different. The upgrades that have been made are amazing. The hotel has improved 1000%! I highly recommend....
