Lynn and Bob run an absolutely first rate and comfortable bed and breakfast. They make you feel so welcome and the food was amazing. The room was spectacular and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice and relaxing stay.

This was our first time at this B&B, but we have stayed in other B&B's before. I felt this one was pretty typical of the usual B&B experience. However, I do have to say that the cleanliness and the food was really much better than any other B&B I've stayed at before. We stayed in the Barossa suite and really enjoyed the huge, two-person jacuzzi tub. My boyfriend and I are big fans of baths, so honestly, this was really the highlight of the room for us. It was super relaxing to soak in. The bed was decently comfortable, a little firm for me, but not bad. There is a lot of noise from the road in the Barossa suite, but I have a box fan app on my phone that I use when I travel and it drowned out any road noise, so I didn't mind at all. I do wish the shower was a little bigger, but hey, the tub made up for it, so I was good. The food really is FANTASTIC. Far superior to any other B&B experience I've had. The innkeepers, Lynne and Bob, are very sweet, knowledgeable, and friendly.

This is our second visit to The Australian Walk About Inn. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. Lynne goes out of her way to accommodate your every wish. Will definitely stay here again.

They have thought of everything needed to make guests comfortable and welcomed. Breakfast was delicious. Each room had a particular asset, and the location was good for reaching downtown or surroundings.

We spent two nights recently at the Australian Walkabout and it was lovely. We are expecting twins in January, so this was a babymoon weekend for us. Lynne, the innkeeper, took care of everything. We had a beautiful room, with Jacuzzi tub. She stocked it with fresh cookies and milk. On Saturday morning, we had a heavenly couples massage right on the premises with Heidi and Melanie who were also awesome! Just can't say enough. Location was perfect too--close, but not too close to downtown Lancaster and easy to get to the countryside as well. Can't wait to get back--although I imagine we will be quite busy for awhile!
