Kasia Zon 17/06/2016 09:06This is a beautiful hotel - we had a spacious suite with a huge bed and even bigger bathroom with a tub (no shower though). The castle's grounds are wonderful. We picked raspberries, currants and wild berries. The breakfast spread was amazing. The service was perfect!
Vacation in Wienerwald

Outstandingly friendly service, cozy breakfast room, but rather ordinary buffet.
Located conveniently a walking distance outside the commercial centre and the Römertherme Spa of Baden.

wanderwegmagpon 14/10/2015 03:30I was looking forward to something special but this is definitely not 4star. It looks tired and the room was really cramped. Not the usual Austrian attention to detail. Breakfast was adequate but uninspiring.
Road trip stopover en-route to Budapest
Robyn Aon 18/08/2015 15:13Loved this little town and hotel. Especially loved the fact that we could happily and without judgement, walk from the hotel to the "baths" (about 500m away) in our dressing gowns! I even saw a local cycling down the road in his dressing gown on the way to the baths!
The hotel room was big and comfortable. The bathroom a little dated but clean.
Breakfast had the usual offerings - which often limits me to the fruit and black coffee as a vegan. They also did have tomatoes and paprika out :-)
Quaint hotel
Kasi Kon 23/07/2015 00:35This hotel is very quiet and peaceful, I guess it reminds me of a bed and breakfast rather than an actual hotel. The decor is charming and the service here is very friendly, and accommodating.
My room was on the first floor, with the balcony facing the little river that flows though town. I really enjoyed that view and the fact that I could sit out on the balcony and just enjoy the quiet surroundings. The bathroom was dated, but everything functioned properly and I'm not incredibly picky when it comes to these things. The entire hotel, including the rooms, has the same quaint vibe and I feel like that's part of the whole experience. I had a good sleep there, but I don't believe that there is air conditioning at this hotel. Another thing to keep in mind is that there aren't any screens on the windows, so if you open them in order to stay cool there will be mosquitoes flying in. Unfortunately we learned this the hard way!
The breakfast was great, I was happy with the selection and the taste of everything. It made for a great morning. The location of this hotel is convenient, within walking distance to all of the spots in Baden that you might want to see. I recommend visiting the beautiful rose gardens that are nearby!
