This hotel is very near to the Gare du Nord so it very useful for travelling by train in and out of Paris. Lots of good restaurants near by and amazingly quiet even though on a main road. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast, at 12 euros, is good value with cheese and cold meats and you can keep going back. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom large enough. We plan to return to this hotel
Not 3 star

Good location, Room was clean and the bed comfortable but very small room with poor facilities. No wardrobe or drawers. Space for putting anything down limited.
Staff friendly but this was no way a 3 star hotel.
Nice based on price

it is very close to GDN. 5min. walking. You can go anywhere in paris from GDN even to airport. Hotel is small like all other hotels in Paris. Rooms are small too but confortable. Breakfast is good I suggest you get your breakfast there.

It reminded us a bit of this tv show. On arrival we were kept waiting about 20 minutes to check in. We then had to contend with a lift that was circa 1970. Once we made it to our room we found there was no toilet paper. We mentioned this on our way out. The lad on reception said it would be sorted by the time we got back. But it was not, in addition we realised that the main light was not working either. So back down to reception, the lad reluctantly gave us some toilet paper to take up ourselves and we had to put up with the light that first evening. Next evening it was still not fixed so back down to reception again. This time perhaps because I was getting a little bit more cross they did fix it. The walls were very thin as per the tv show.
The hotel was on a very busy main road so opening the window was a problem. So this might have been a problem in summer with no air con.
Having said all this the hotel was cheap for Paris (the internet price was cheap - the walk in price was certainly not cheap by any standards). So it was cheap and fulfilled the basic requirement of being clean and warm and it is also very close to the Eurostar terminal, therefore if you don’t mind a few idiosyncrasies then I guess I would not rule it out.
Nice website but much different in reality... disappointed!

Stayed in this hotel in August 2017 for one night only as it was just a stop-over and I needed a hotel close to the train station. Prior to my arrival (e.g. website, booking process, etc.), it seemed I had found a comfortable and recently renovated hotel at a great price. However, I was rather disappointed once I was there. To start with something positive to say: People at the reception were friendly and the check-in process was smooth.
But once you leave the reception to get to your room, you have to deal with one single and very slow elevator, most likely dating from the 1970’s. Good luck – or happy waiting – during busy times… you might be better off using the stairs.
The state of the room was ok, but I must admit I was disappointed given all these nice pictures on the website. Yes, these are the same rooms, but again it shows you how much a professional photographer and lighting can do. In reality, it did not look very nice and most parts of the room (bed, desk, wardrobe, walls etc.) did have heavy scratches. The beds were old, the safety box not working etc. etc. The bathroom was absolutely clean, but looked like from the 1970’s.
Also, the walls in this hotel a paper thin. While trying to get to sleep, I had to listen to the creaking wooden floor of the room above me where another guest was walking around… and to the guest next door who was heavily snoring. In addition to that: Although the windows are new, they are not sound proof at all. The hotel is located at a busy street with constant noise even at night. Yes, you can try and ask the hotel for a quiet room (e.g. to the backyard and on a high floor), but hey, I did (and well in advance) and they still gave me one of the noisiest rooms (given the location in the building).
To be honest: Yes, you can sleep in this hotel, but it has nothing to do with “luxury” and “comfort” and “modern furniture” – as explicitly claimed on their website. From my point of view, this is not a hotel you would want to stay in when visiting Paris as a tourist for a couple of days – and even for just a one night stop-over on a business trip, I would not recommend it.
