From 2005 to 2008 this was my favorite hotel in Paris because the owners were so nice:the rooms go completely dark for good rest;it has that special Paris feel; it is very close to the metro Convention;I felt safe returning there after dark;and it was a reasonable price.The beds are comfortable and it is clean.Also it is close to shopping at Monoprix and there are restaurants close by.As an American I loved going to Hippopotamous down on Vaurigaurd when I was hungry for s steak.Since it has been a few years since I have been there I don`t know if they will print this.But I still send my friends to this hotel.

Basic, unclean but in a good location.

We stayed as we were going to watch Northern Ireland in the Euros.The hotel is quite run down and basic. The rooms are bare and the beds were not the most hygienic beds that I've slept in. The window sills were a few inches thick in bird crap and the furniture etc is very dated. However its a few minutes walk from the convention tube stop and there's lots of bars , restaurants and various other places of interest around. There's a daily market around the corner. The staff are friendly but its a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. I would stay again but please don't expect glamour and modern rooms if you're booking here.

without air condition in summer not plaisant !!! primitive and noisy , safe neighborhood far from the center . The hotel promotes ‘insonorisation’ but it is not correct. The noise from the street is intense even with the double glanced windows closed. the price 87 euros without breakfast .

Simple and noisy!

There is not a lot to say. The room look old and simple.
The bathroom is clean and probably recently modernized.
But the room are noise you can ear the other clients and everybody coming and going in the corridor.

For budget travellers

Old and requires a lot of refurbishing / maintenance

I've chosen this hotel for the budget.
Pros:
Location at 50m from the underground, 5 meters from public parking, various restaurants (mostly Sushi/Japanish) around.
Cons:
Old, low quality, Elevator is so slow, everithing is so small.
Really for backpackers is somehow a youth hostels with the plus of small rooms and private bathrooms.
