Great stop-over
Lene Hon 01/08/2017 23:03Was here One Night on the way from Denmark to Austria. 10 min drive from the autobahn.
Very clean, everything worked, and lots of room (family room). We travelled two adults, two kids and a small baby.
Very friendly staff and a nice meal in the cafe.
Great service from the manager who did not charge for a room we booked by a mistake.
Breakfast was nice (not overwelming, but nice).
Great for stop-over. We will come back.
Lacks personality
luisneiraon 14/02/2017 09:37We did not expect any big thing, we were just passing by and it was a convenient location. Building is completely impersonal, so are the rooms although appearance is modern and all furniture and decoration is quite new or renovated with a good taste, but it did not provide an outstanding result to my eyes.
Breakfast had a good variety of juice, fruit, cereals and cold cuts; but surprisingly for a German site, not so many sweet rolls or pastries. In all, the offering was fair but not enough for a 4* location in my humble opinion.
Wireless connection is for free, and it worked fairly good enough.
Quality to price, extremely adjusted. We got a special offer, but actual prices may be too much.
Views in the neighborhood are not extremely relevant. It is nevertheless a good location to start some excursions in the forests and rivers nearby, which are worth the visit.

Kiddanon 02/08/2016 13:10If you book this hotel there is a risk that you will be moved to a two star hotel 1hour drive away. They, will say It is three minutes drive though. This is what I think a way for this two family owned hotels to fill up the second much more remote and much older hotel, Avenon privat-hotel Schwaig.
Good one near Nuremberg
arielpayaton 14/02/2014 05:57Stay for one night. Supposed to stay near the city centre of Nuremberg.. but hotel price there goed as high as 400euro. Looked for a hotel within 15km radius. The room is minimal and clean. Good for sleep over only. Got ut for about 90euro.
nice hotel, close to Nurnberg
Salima Kon 14/01/2014 18:37I have staid many times at this hotel, when attending to the European Coating Show in Nurnberg. It is not so far from the "Messe" where many events are organized in Nurnberg. Nice hotel, recently renovated. very good breafast. love it
