Room was amazing. Very spacious and felt right at home with the full kitchen. Which included pots and pans, dishes, utensils, cups, etc. Only downside was not being able to find a plug to charge my phone in the bedroom. Had to charge it in the living room.

Stayed in room #124 inner courtyard. Noisy guests Friday night and Saturday from 8am-11pm when security arrived . Guests were at other end on hotel but had rooms open yelling / cussing across courtyard at one another .Competing radios going on. Staff told me they had till 10 pm to quiet down. Had an early morning meeting I was trying to prepare for. Felt pricing should reflect a higher end hotel. Found out the other building on site had interior rooms, quiet and no disturbances. Told no rooms available . 2nd building lobby has no staff and remains unlocked so anyone can walk in off the street. Overall if guests had been ask By management to quiet down I would of had a better experience. Front desk not friendly not trained . Rooms were basic and clean . Biggest complaint - poor management, freeway noise and overpriced for what you get!

About ten years ago, I frequently stayed at Ayres (about two to three times a year). It was my go-to place to stay after visiting Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Back then it was always excellent service and a great stay. After so many years, their standard of service and cleanliness has remained the same, and in some areas has even improved! I always stay in the deluxe double queen beds on the first floor facing the pool. There is a divider between the beds that houses a mini fridge, microwave, small sink, and counter top. With being on the first floor facing the pool, you might expect to hear children playing in the pool or families lounging in the court yard, but quiet hours start at 10:00 PM. Their all-you-can-eat full breakfast in the mornings is always a highlight. It includes, eggs, sausages, oatmeal, breads, fruit, yogurt, nice juices (like guava), coffee, tea, muffins, etc. For the service, accommodations, and the great breakfast in the morning, you cannot beat the price! And the price has not gone up very much over the years either! This is a family owned place, a rare jewel in the midst a very corporate industry. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

While we enjoyed the property, front desk staff and accommodations, we can not recommend staying here because the housekeeping crew will enter your room even though you have a Do Not Disturb tag in the outside door lock. While I was exiting the shower, there was a small door knock. My husband walked over to open the door and found that the housekeeper had removed the Do Not Disturb tag and had inserted the master room key into the lock. Both she and my husband were surprised to see each other when the door opened. I reported this event to the front desk, along with another instance when housekeeping knocked on the door while the Do Not Disturb tag was clearly outside our door. The front desk apologized profusely. We have no idea what remedy was applied but they have lost our trust. We have stayed here several times in years past - even for our wedding event. We will not stay here again. We resorted to packing what was very important to us into our car every time we left the room for the day. We were there four nights and incurred invasion of privacy twice. We will be looking for another hotel chain to stay with. So sad.

We chose this hotel based on location for a volleyball tournament. There are two buildings. I am told that the registration building has smaller rooms than the other building (with the breakfast and happy hour.) They are very energy conscience here as the lights and ac don't work unless you put your room key in a designated spot in the room when you are there. Nice touch energy wise. We did not get to partake in the Happy Hour as we were there on Sat/Sun. The breakfast was ok, typical of breakfast included.
We opted for the Q/Q set up with the full kitchen. The rooms were very nice and appeared to be recently upgraded. The work is not perfect, but very nice, and very spacious. The kitchen had all the amenities like home. We reserved two rooms of this type close to each other. I would have preferred a little away from the other rooms (perhaps around the corner.) Now I know the layout and will request in the future. Our floor (2nd) had a laundry room and ice very close. Carts are available for luggage too. They also have a cozy outside area with pool, hot tub, and fireplace. Parking is very easy.
Complaints/Needs Attention - The rooms are non-smoking (and is what I prefer), but my room had the worse smoke smell. I even tried to open the windows and it did not help (windows open very little.) The front desk offered to have housekeeping spray, but that only masks the smell in my opinion, and then it smells like spray AND smoke. The toilet had a very loose handle. The shower was very slippery. Perhaps a shower rug would be in order?
We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
