Charming with a beautiful view
Joann Aon 03/11/2016 19:50I just spent almost two weeks here with a group from the US. It is a charming place and the view is amazing! It would be very comparable to a Bed and Breakast in the US except for the fact that in an Agriturismo the owners produce most of the food they serve. I believe they made their own sausages and cheeses. Everything is very fresh. My room in the main house was older but comfortable and free WIFi was available in the rooms. The hot water in the shower was a little quirky so just had to be careful the water didn't get to hot. Our hostess Luciana was very accommodating and helpful as was everyone else. This is very much a family business. This part of Italy is less often visited by tourists and not that many people speak English, so be aware. It is in the Apennines Mountains and everywhere you look the views are just breathtaking!
Friendly and comfortable
Helen Son 26/10/2016 12:24Our group of 16 travelers from the USA just spent ten days at this wonderful Agritourismo accommodation.,Luciana went out of her way to ensure that we had a wonderful,experience. Some of the group were in the newer rooms, but I was in an older room as the top of the stairs. The room was very comfortable and always clean. There is access to wifi from the room and a TV with English channels ( BBC, CNN) But who has time to watch TV when you are in such a beautiful,place. The food was delicious and Carlos made every effort to accommodate our American tastes. Ie eggs for breakfast! One note, the showers are tiny I barely fit into mine and some of the rooms are not handicap accessible. Luciana helped us to experience dinner at many of the other agritourismo restaurants in the area so we had a broad experience of their cuisine.
Great view of mountains
Tuttidirezionion 15/06/2016 18:48Very nice family run Agriturismo in the heart of Molise, 10 minutes from Macchiogodena, and 15 or so from Frosilone. One side of farmhouse has fantastic views of Matese Mountains. Food served was very good traditional Molisani. Owners were very responsive to our questions and needs. Nice shaded outdoor eating area. Wifi only 30 min. a day, and didn't work very well. Follow the signs closely to get there—might help to get GPS coordinates if you want to make sure.
AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE OF THE MOLISE REGION.
Mia Ron 25/04/2016 15:05What an amazing place. The location is just gorgeous, on top of a mountain with breathtaking views all around. We experienced traditional, homemade Molise food that was prepared by Chef Dolores who is just wonderful. Luciana makes sure every detail of your stay is taken care of for you and there is a Sommelier, Carlo, to help you navigate the great selection of Italian wines. The rooms are super clean and had T.V and WIFI. This was our second time here and can't wait to go again!
Wonderful 5 days
