Peaceful location and wonderful food
hendrehywelon 29/09/2016 21:43We felt genuinely welcomed at this delightful unpretentious Agriturismo set in a peaceful rural location. It is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas such as Syracusa, Noto and Etna as well as relaxing beside the lovely swimming pool. We especially appreciated the wonderful dinners prepared by Georgio, the host, who is an exceptionally talented cook.
Wonderful host and tasteful dinners
Marcel von 20/05/2016 11:28We had a excellent stay at Le Chiuse. Giorgio is a great host and gave a lot of practical information on what to do and see and where to eat. But he is also a very good cook! We stayed four nights at Le Chiuse and had dinner three nights. The price of 20 euro for a three course dinner including the wine is very good (too low, if I must say) for what you get.
The kids had a great time with the Ping-Pong-table, the table football-table, the dogs and the swimming pool. I absolutely recommend this place.

Helen Won 19/07/2015 10:18Difficult review to write given we stayed in 3 agritourismo sites in Sicily and were undoubtedly spoilt with the others. Le Chiuse was extremely difficult to find with poor sign posting, road in very dirty & unkempt but this is on the outskirts of a couple of major cities. Pool very dirty & when another guest asked for it to be cleaned, they were handed the equipment to do it themselves. Owner on site in the evening leaving his parents there overnight which wasn't helpful when I had sick children in the night & couldn't raise any help. Food was ok, the owner himself cooks so there is just one choice. Room contained a bizarre list of instructions & fine notices hung on a nail in the wall for taking towels to pool or for leaving air con on. Agritourismo this definitely wasn't but as a base for a day or so to visit Syracuse then perfectly adequate because there isn't anything to do here.
Fantastic Agriturismo, Excellent Food

The place is fantastic and ideal to relax as it is very peaceful around. Food by Giorgio is really good and very generous portions too.
Very good sized swimming pool and 40 minutes away from Etnaland aquapark.Very close to Pantalica which is well well worth visiting.
Very helpful and friendly staff, you feel very welcome.
I suggest Le Chiuse very much.

Bunnygirlawayon 24/07/2013 07:55We have been at this agriturismo for 3nights,hospitality is very good especially Tina she is a very nice women and very friendly.Rooms are very clean and big,there is a swimming pool so you can rest a bit after a nice excursion around sicilly,the thing that I don't like very much was the food as there was nothing particularly Sicilian the wort plate,was he brought us penne with almond and something else and I really don't like it even the meat that night was horrible.but overall it's not bad.I miss the dogs but Baffi and trulli which on my last night I gave them all mine and my husband meat to eat as we didn't eat it.
