claireparker50on 15/08/2017 09:53I surprised my husband with a weekend in Koln for his birthday last weekend and booked into the Azimut as we had stayed there before a few months ago. There were no double rooms left with it being a last minute booking so we had to have a standard twin. If that was standard I'd like to see a superior twin. It was huge and on a corner so loads of light. We asked reception for a good place close to eat as I cannot walk very far at present and they directed us to a a pub round the corner (which we found we could actually see from the room). Had the best schnitzel ever there. The hotel were extremely helpful and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is only one stop on the Sbahn from Koln Hauptbahnhof so very convenient for the city.
Great base
DaSton 09/08/2017 12:48Just back from a two night stay along with a group of friends all of us sharing twins. Coming in on the train direct from the airport the hotel is literally next to the second station after crossing the river, the first being the main Cologne stop.
Its a great place to stay as the facilities, rooms, restaurant et al are modern, clean and spacious. Not only that a pleasant 15 minute walk back into the centre will find you stood in front of the cathedral.
I personally like the slight detachment from the centre and on both days/nights there we walked to and from at all hours.
If travelling to Cologne again, I'd definitely return here.

220nathaliejon 07/08/2017 10:32We visited to explore the city, we received info and a plan from the staff, they were very friendly. Loved the hotel, very clean and more than I expected. The hotel itself was a 20-minute walk from the city center, which was very handy.

sabinek433on 05/08/2017 11:46We loved our stay here! The rooms are clean and cozy, the service is friendly and the location is just exellent! From here you can start so many excursions in an easy way, because it is so central.
We'd love to be back soon!

driftwood2017on 29/07/2017 06:49I want to rate thishotel highly - but a few things let it down.
1) I asked for room service (before 23:59) and was told that it was unavailable - only 1 staff member working.
2) Parking spaces nearest entrance are ridiculously small. When parked between other vehicles, I could not open my doors!
3) Parking too expensive - 17,50 EUR per day.
4) Wi-fi too expensive - 7 EUR per day.
5) Azimut loyalty programme ONLY operates in Russia.
