Overpriced and mediocre service
Leigh Pon 24/08/2017 10:26Very overpriced, 12 quid for a glass of wine and a pint and the room rate is extortionate for what you get. The hotel across the road, The Lodge is just as good and half the price. My room had no hand soap, a bathroom in need of some re-decoration and whilst the breakfast was nice, the service was lacking.
But seriously, HOW MUCH!!
Lovely hotel
Ellenta76on 22/08/2017 19:00Stayed here for just one night with my husband and two children and we had a very pleasant stay. Room was clean and I felt well set out with the dressing table area, also the little extras of sweets and cookies for the kids was a really nice touch. Spa facilities were also really good and the breakfast was fab!! All the staff we dealt with were helpful and friendly but I feel particular praise should go to the lady who checked us in as she was really helpful and nothing seemed like to much trouble (didn't get her name but I did notice that she was expecting) would definitely stay again!!

Raised venetian blind in bedroom but was not able to lower it again. Toiletries in bathroom poor, only provided shampoo and body wash - would have expected more
from a four star establishment. No shaving/make-up mirror. Tiny wardrobe.
Not a extensive choice of food in the restaurant for dinner. Main courses for the two of us arrived cold and were sent back - the restaurant was not busy at the time. We chose to eat elsewhere for our second night's stay.
The draught lager pump stopped working and the barman said he did not know how to fix it so could only offer bottled lager. Asked for bar snacks and was told only pretzels were available - is this good enough for a four star hotel?
Gym and pool facilities are shared with membership holders.
The lack of finer details and poor service let this establishment down.
Was unimpressed and will not stay again.
Excellent hotel
on 22/08/2017 11:46Excellent hotel, good service, rooms were spacious and clean, restaurant food and service was excellent, there were two choices of restaurants bistro and main restaurant both were good with good menus.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Will definitely visit again.

Dean Won 20/08/2017 09:40Stayed for one night for business, fantastic! Lovely room very comfortable bed! Bathroom facilities were really good too, one of the best hotel showers I've had! Spa facilities looked really clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice big selection self service, friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again!
