We had a great time here. Pam and Dallas are very warm and friendly and we loved their dog Quincy. We felt at home here. We stayed in the cozy Sunporch room, super comfy sheets! We also did the wine tour which was really great and very relaxing.

Perfectly peaceful wedding night retreat

My husband and I recently got married in Wrightsville and were looking for a bed and breakfast to stay after our wedding. We are waiting to take our honeymoon until this coming spring and a lot of our family live in the Lancaster area, so we just wanted one peaceful night to ourselves. We were exhausted and it was such a relief to settle into the beautiful and comfortable Susquehanna Room. We also loved the rainfall style shower. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast in bed thanks to Pam's accommodation and it was delicious – just what we needed after a long night at our reception! I would absolutely stay here again. It was a pleasure!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Pam is an amazing cook who had a warm peach cobbler on our arrival in the evening. Our breakfast was also fantastic with a warm granola, fruit egg mixture that was fantastic! She gladly provided printed recipes of whatever we wanted. She went out of her way to offer ideas of places to go to in the Lancaster area. Quincy the playful lab was also a plus. Would definitely stay there again.

This B&B was so wonderful. When I called Pam to reserve the room, I was slightly nervous about how welcoming a small town B&B in rural PA would be to LGBT guests. She was able to put to rest any questions I had and made sure through our stay we felt welcomed. My boyfriend and I came to the area for a wedding and were delighted to find a room at this B&B for a much better price than the 'official' wedding hotel. Pam, Dallas, and their dog Quincy were amicable hosts from the beginning. We had reserved the Blakemore room, which had more than enough amenities for our stay. The shower was modern with two shower heads, a rainwater style pivoting head and a removable head, as well as a tub that included little jacuzzi 'jets'. The bathrobes and bed were extremely comfortable. A refrigerator with free soda and water was right outside our room. Every morning, Quincy greeted us downstairs before breakfast. For breakfast, there were plenty of options between coffee, tea, and juice. Shortly after we had sat down, Pam was ready with breakfast, which was excellent every single morning and enough to fill us up before heading out to the surrounding area. Adjacent to the dining room, Pam and Dallas have a cute little gift shop, where they also store a large collection of DVD's that can be taken up to your room every night. Most nights, Pam also prepared little treats for the guests most nights, including chocolate chip cookies and a little crumb cake. Across the foyer from the living room and dining room is an expansive parlor that also includes a great array of visitor information for the surrounding area, including nifty maps of Lancaster County. All things considered, this was the best home away from home I've ever had, and I think that's the best compliment I can give Pam and Dallas. They do so much to preserve this historic house and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. By the end of our stay, it felt like we had friends in Pam and Dallas and we look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed in the Vanderslice Suite and found it not only comfortable but inspiring and beautiful. Pam and Dallas were gracious hosts, breakfast was delicious, all of our needs were anticipated, and met with generosity .
