Andrea Lon 11/07/2017 16:20This hostel was very accommodating and the staff were helpful and kind. They helped me practice my Russian and I really enjoyed speaking with them. My room (on woodstock dorm) was light airy clean and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed there longer. Thanks for everything!

meaonon 08/07/2017 03:39The look of the hostel outside or the stairway to get to the right floor can be deceiving but don't judge the book by its cover. This place has so much to offer, first of all friendly and welcoming staff (everyone is so smiley and helpful), then followed by good condition & well maintained facilities (long running stream of hot water).
The location is close to touristy spots yet quiet enough away from main road and noise. Only heard some trams passed by on the first day.

Staffs are so nice and they speak perfect English. They are always willing to help guests 24/7.
Location is to be highlighted. I enjoyed walking from the hostel to Nevsky Prospekt(Avenue), since it is very close.
Rooms are nice, and you can meet nice friends in the kitchen+dining room.
Plus, there is a little supermarket right next to the hostel.
You should be noticed that the hostel do not provide breakfast.
Prepare yourself!

I've stayed at hostels all over the world and the genuinely fun, friendly, and helpful staff were perhaps my all time favourite! The central location is great and each dorm bed comes with its own curtain, light, and electric outlet. Cleanliness was acceptable and beds were firm but adequate. The common room and kitchen are far enough from rooms that you can be social late into the night or go to bed early depending on your mood. Thank you Baby Lemonade staff for a wonderful first trip to Russia :)
I would be happy to stay here for future visits :)
Fun, friendly hostel

Organising early check in was a bit of a nightmare after an overnight train from Moscow and the room was really noisy but other than that my stay there was great. It is a comfortable walking distance from a lot of attractions and I felt really safe there.
