One night close to the beach

The hotel has a great location close to the beach and has potential not fulfilled. It's very dated and you notice it's not updated to the needs of today's travelers. Where can I charge my mobile? Disconnect the plug from the fat TV or the fridge? The breakfast room has a great view but was messy. It took us 3 times to toast some bread before we could catch the bread in the air before they landed on the floor.

Looked great when we booked on the internet but it didn't live up to the expectations
Very slow wifi
The tv was from the 20th century and the satellite reception terrible
Liked the pool area but not the "bug spraying"
One of the reasons we booked Bacchus was the gym.... But it was "closed"

I'm confirmed that this is a very old resort without any renovation and not so cleanliness, bathroom and towel are not comfort and there has some insect in night time. But compare with the price , it 's look like more expensive but swimming pool and breakfast are quite OK. The beach is very deep and heavy wave, so they can swim at the beach, or not ?

Deceiving photos on the Internet

First of all reviews and photos online quite deceiving. This is a very old resort which probably used to be great many years ago but nothing has been done over the years so it's a little 'loveless'.
I shall name a few pros and cons:

Pro:
- Very good price for 2 interconnecting rooms for a family of 4
- nice pool
- clean
- Good firm bed
-Free wifi

Cons:
- beach non existent now (digger etc)
- rooms very basic and no kettle but asked for one then got one on loan and bought our own tea and coffee
-price list in room for all items in case you break them gives out a negative vibe
- unwelcoming reception and staff generally not very friendly at all - especially for being Thailand! Everywhere else much friendlier!
- wifi very sporadic
Breakfast (valued at 350 THB) is one of the worst we've had. Choice of American or Asian plate, supplemented by toast and jam and awful tea (looked and tasted like it had Brewed all night). Fried eggs were still jelly-ish, so were the soft-boiled ones. All
In all definitely not AT ALL worth 350baht. Our son threw up immediately after it but one can't be sure it was from that. He was, however, fine for the rest of the day. The sausage looked awful-I didn't dare eat it due to its dubious colour.
What a shame about this resort, so much could be done about this. Starting with showing effort and a positive attitude to guests when they arrive- we got charged for the entire week upfront which I also can't say I ever had to do unless I booked through a third party!

Good location but not for the room.

This hotel is valuable for money but just for basic stay n pls do not expect for perfect condition.
Good location near the beach, nice pool, abf ok, no lift then a bit tied for walk up. Room looked old, hot water not work, noisy at night from party with children noise. Here valuable your cost not much expensive.
