Average Hotel lovely staff

We just returned from Tobago after staying at this hotel, the room was presented lovely and the staff fantastic but the down side was that the hotel really needs updating, damaged tiles to the pool, no down pipes for containing the rainwater, being just out of season we had some heavy rainfall which was not a problem until it came through our bathroom ceiling. Reported it straight away and with the hotel only having a few guests at this time we were not offered any move of room, just extra towels to mop up the water. Lovely food, but miles from any bars or places to go without a taxi. Next trip to Tobago would be on the Caribbean side not the Atlantic.

Good, but need improvements.

The overall stay at this hotel was....ok. The ambience is nice, not too crowded, in my opinion it's perfect for couples. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious... especially the bathroom. Lobby area is very contemporary and "tropical" ...this is mainly because of the overlooking view of the ocean.
The food was good, we just had dinner at the sister hotel, Half Moon Blue and we had a buffet breakfast at Cafe Havana, the bake and Saltfish was amazing as well as their fried Melongene.
Some cons to this hideaway; the cable is in a mess, they use a box with a smartcard that constantly sticks while the movie is playing and some channels do not work. There is no ice bucket in the room, so if you need ice you need to walk to cafe Havana and get cups with ice and the most annoying thing for me was the key card for the room door, apparently they use one of those RFID cards to open the door; ours gave us hell (room 23)... however you may be lucky. Another important point to note is that this hotel is located far away from most night life, restaurants and alot of activities one would expect when coming to Tobago, the closest point to any entertainment and restaurants would be Scarborough. Another point to note is that I would advise renting a vehicle if you choose to stay here as the taxi from ANR Robinson to Bacolet Beach Club costs $120.00 TT.

Nice Place

Big room, with balcony and great ocean view Good buffet breakfast included each in each morning at Cafe Havana, adjacent to hotel. Nothing to do or see in immediate area.
You need a car or taxi to get into town. Too far to walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed that wifi was available in lobby, not in my room.

Wonderful stay - relaxing location

We loved our stay here; we had a second story room overlooking the bay and pool. The room was spacious and comfortable; the AC worked well as the humidity level was high. The hotel provided beach towels each day as we explored the island and provided a breakfast buffet at the adjoins restaurant. Hotel staff was very professional and helpful for a large group. The internet was a bit problematic but improved over our stay (best reception was I the lobby - but there was plenty of seating for multiple users!)

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

The place has declined tremendously Its not as stated on website. There's no wifi only in the lobby. The breakfast is disgusting, cold, soggy pancakes, bread sausage, scrambled, eggs, beans, and bacon every single day with watered down juices. Which you get to eat with lots of flies buzzing around and cats lounging in the dining are. The receptionists are awesome. Rachel Will over look your request for a quick buck and the manager Natasha when I complained to her about my stay she threw her staff under the bus. She practically blamed them for everything. Some of the rooms are shabby and has an awful stench. If you can avoid this place I'd definitely advise you to. Disappointing stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone or stay there again under any circumstances.
