On the positive side, the rooms are very big and clean and the resort grounds is beautiful. The restaurant food is very good and he hotel offer some entertainment during dinner. The staff was all good as well
They have a snorkeling spot next door but it's nothing special and they have a good dive shop in the resort itself.
Value for money is OK as it is a bit pricey (I guess you ph for the location) and the hotel rooms could use an upgrade (even though you pay shangri-la prices, the amenities can't be compared.
Luxury stay in Badian
Fatimah Lon 06/08/2017 07:33Badian's popularity has spiked for the last two to three years since the outdoorsy adventures became established, mostly comprised of the kawasan falls canyoneering, osmena peak hike, oslob swim with the whale sharks, moalboal swim with school of sardines and turtles, to name a few. For travellers seeking a luxurious accommodation whilst completing the whole tour, badian island wellness resort is perfect as it is sitting right in the heart of all the adventure spots. A quite location with splendid views, very hospitable staff, the Badian suite was a very spacious romantic room, pretty landscaped gardens and great food and cocktails choices to boost. While the resort needs a bit of a modern touch to it (dont bother thinking about buying souveneirs from their shop), its gradeur remains after 34 years of being in business. Sadly, the thalasso spa has not been maintained and not anymore serviceable. But the main swimming pool is there, around where they sometimes serve romantic dinners and host entertaining shows at night, like firedancers, the harp player and cultural shows.

golovely76on 25/07/2017 03:05We stayed 3 nights on the Island. All were great, from the room, food in the restaurant and the Staff. Every staff we met has their lovely smile. The Pool Villa is absolutely perfect and offers a delightful view for you to relax and unwind. You will never be disappointed with the high quality of the food even itâs pricey. Also, the afternoon tea is excellent. We booked the Kawasan Tour, the very popular Falls in Badian area, Dolphin Watching was extremely beautiful. Snorkel with the giant Whale Shark in Oslob. It was really an above and beyond experienced.

Renz Aon 03/07/2017 03:20Prepare for a time-consuming trip from Airport to resort.It's good for us since we book a private shuttle from the airport going to hotel. The hotel will charge you for a certain amount depending on the number of persons.
The picturesque view of the island gives me such peace. A very good stress-free holiday from the point of getting burden at work. Youâll experience the flora and fauna setting that you havenât seen in the City.
The room is huge. The Spa which certainly helps relieves our stress.Beautiful corals and very good for snorkeling. The evening shows were definitely awesome with guest participation program.
The food was superb. The restaurant's staff were excellent from the chefs to the waiters, very friendly and attentive.
