The ultimate luxury hotel - feels like you're in a movie

After taking the Bernina Express we were taken to the hotel in a Rolls Royce. The driver was waiting for us at the train doors and took our luggage to the car. A valet then took our luggage to the room while we went to check in. At the front desk, the staff took us straight to our room and checked us in from our room. The hotel provides free drinks in the mini bar and a welcome dessert of local sweets. The room we were given had a view of the town. The bed was very comfortable with extremely luxurious bedding. The hotel provides robes and slippers that feel very high end. The room did not have air conditioning but given the weather, the room was extremely comfortable. Opening the window allowed for a nice breeze to enter and was more than adequate.

The hotel and the town of St Moritz are like something out of a movie. The hotel is over 100 years old and has a very classic interior. The decor is the same. Every day I felt as if I was on the set of The Grand Budapest Hotel.

More incredible than the building and the rooms was the service provided. Every one knew us by name and would go out of their way to answer questions or help us out. The car was always available to take us anywhere we needed and if it wasn't then the hotel would offer to provide us with a taxi. The hotel would bring up a bucket of ice within 1 minute of requesting it. We asked where we could purchase the jam that the hotel had at afternoon tea and within minutes we were brought a container to take with us as it is made within the hotel.

We took advantage of the mountain passes provided with our room and took a trip up to Piz Nair and also Muottas Muragl.

Breakfast was also provided with our room rate. Breakfast consisted of a large buffet spread of fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffee, tea, and made to order options. Staff during breakfast was a bit slower than in any other parts of the hotel but otherwise was exceptional.

5 star service, great concierge! Le restaurant offers a great choice of wine, terrific food and perfect service. Rooms have been renovated over the last couple of years and views from balcony are great.

Amazing experience at this historical hotel. The view is spectacular and the service is exceptional. The spa and the swimming pools are well kept, great facilities for a relaxing vacation. The staff is very helpful and are willing to do above and beyond. Thanks for a fantastic experience and I look forward to returning soon.

It was a very pleasant stay. Wonderful room with a great view over the lake. The bed was really comfortable! Staff very kind and a special thanks to the front office manager Michael! (The transfers on the Rolls Royce were amazing!) It's a really lovely place for relaxing!

We had a wonderful stay at Badrutt's Palace Hotel. Our room was very comfortable with a great view over the lake and the pool & relax area was well worth enjoying. The service was outstanding, from the pick up and transfer to the hotel, to all the attention paid to details in the room, special dietary needs or other. It felt luxurious from the beginning to the end!
