NEWS-holidayson 23/07/2017 20:51Stayed at Bahn Hotel. Excellent hotel. Basic. Very clean. Large rooms. Very near to train station which made it very easy for us to travel to near Cities with the ticket that the hotel gave us for free. One whole week travelling for free!!! Excellent. A must go for people who love to travel and explore cities and cultures.
a good hotel for a short trip

Room bit old, but are ok.
free wifi, with good quality.
If you travel to the Koeln Messe, you can buy a cheaper ticket to Koeln.
Prices was ok, considering that in Koeln prieces was crazy because of the fair.
Central, convenient and easy to get to.
robw247on 16/04/2017 20:26I visited Dusseldorf in April. You can't get more central than this. Literally 2 minutes walk from the mainline station, and restaurant areas it's ideally located if you need to travel and want access to the train lines/airports without too much fuss. The hotel provides you with included wi-fi access and despite many people whinging about the speed it is more than fit for purpose for basic access. The room was very clean if not a tad dated and in need of refreshing thoughthe hotel staff very friendly and helpful when enquiringly about the local area. The phone line and to were not working when I first checked in though this was rectified after day 2 of me being there, though to be honest I wasn't in Dusseldorf to watch TV. The room was a tad cold in the morning as the heating in the hotel was not switched on but as a single bloke travelling it was a minor. Might be different if you were using this as a romantic getaway as I don't think it's set up for this. Would use again, as cost wise it's very cheap, basic but ok if you don't need it to be a 4-5 star as it is a3 star hotel.

tory16007on 24/03/2017 14:28The Bahn-Hotel location is really comfortable and close to all necessary things, not far away Asian district. I am not fully enjoyed staying in this hotel - the bathroom was really old and looks untidy, the bath tap was broken, breakfast was not included. But room was big enough and pretty clean
This Place Has Seen Its Better Days

First, one can observe first-hand 1960-1970's post war hotel construction. It is today like it was then. Today, however one also experiences chipped paint, damaged furniture, sewer gas wafting from the seldom-used bidet, and super-firm beds. The sound-insulated windows though do provide ample protection from street noise. The one saving grace is helpful desk clerks who explain the complicated internet connectivity and advise on S-Bahn transportation.
Second reason: When you need a hotel within walking distance of the main railway station and find others booked out.
