Nancy Won 17/08/2017 16:35We booked for 5 days. We were unhappy with the hotel standards. Was very noisey. And we looked at booking this hotel mainly because it offered free laundry services. There was a sign posted at the lobby , that it wasn't working. And every day we asked. Nobody seemed to know when it would be fixed. It was still posted the whole 5 days we were there. I think that it's bad customer service. Also the entrance to the hotel is very run down and the seats were old and covered with patches. Scetchy people hanging around. And the staff were not professional or friendly. I would not stay there again.
Disappointing...
javaman011on 11/08/2017 20:38After staying several times in Hotel Gabriel in the 3rd district, which is belonging to the same group, we booked this hotel and it was disappointing. The most positive thing was the location, very close to the tram and subway station. We arrived there about 1p.m and some guests already waiting in the lobby to check in. But there was nobody at the reception. After 20 min we called the main office and we were told it is not usual that the reception is not occupied. A few minutes later an older guy with a young lady (she was the receptionist in charge), came out from the back and she started to serve the waiting guests. After we complained the older guy got very rude and asked us if we got any problem, we said its not very polite to let the guests wait without any info whats going on. He answered there are sometimes things to fix in the rooms and also check in time is 2 p.m., talking very aggressive and not polite at all. Beside this strange incident, we did not really like the rather old rooms, sleeping comfort very bad and the breakfast rather poor choice. We were very disappointed and can not recommend this hotel....
Okay hotel in nice walking distance
HenrikkeKRon 23/07/2017 13:59A nice decent hotel really close to the city center of Vienna. Nice staff, okay breakfast and nice hotel rooms. Unfortunately not everything was working well. The laundry service (which we needed) was not working, the show head wouldn't stay up. Our room was really big, but right next to the road. We couldn't upon the window at the night because if the noise, but it's was really warm in the room.
Vienna visit
r0gue1on 09/07/2017 19:01We stayed here as family of three ( adult child). Everything was exactly as advertised. Room was huge. Breakfast was more than adequate. Stay was super welcoming and helpful. Location was right down from metro. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The welcome bottle of wine and fruit was added bonus.
Nice place
nk234815on 08/07/2017 14:35I stayed there for 2 nights. It is an old but very comfortable hotel. It is situated near the subway which is very comfortable. It is close to all the attractions. The breakfasts are very small but it is enough to get you going.
