Not a good choice
AndresDEon 01/07/2017 22:29We were in this place this summer and we will not return here for sure. On internet they say that the studio is a room with a bed and a sofa, but in reality it is a room only with sofa. After a night on the sofa I needed a physioterapist... You can not get here without a car. If you want to call a taxi from the train station (2,5 km) they want 100eur for that. This is definitelly not what we have paid for.
Best resort of Sardinia!

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about escursioni;the apartments are very clean and 1 minute walking from the beach!
We have 2 kids and is perfect for family!
For sure we will go back to Baia de Bahas!

Average place, unexpected charges
795anniewongon 22/09/2016 21:07We booked our trip through LoveHolidays.com. The village was beautiful, the beaches were gorgeous and the staff were very friendly.
However, our apartment only had a sofa bed which was incredibly uncomfortable. What the most infuriating aspect of the trip was the fact that upon arrival we were expected to pay €145 for services which consisted of water, gas and electricity bills. This was after we had already paid for the room. Although the small print stated that we may have to pay services we did not expect it to be this much and, as a result, we were forced to withdraw more money out. We thought we had booked a good deal but the extent of these unexpected charges made for a very expensive shock and took a sizeable chunk out of our budget within hours of arrival. This price included a cost for cleaning services in the apartment as well as linen and towel changes that we never actually benefitted from as they were weekly and somehow did not coincide with the 7 day duration of our stay.
The photos were also misleading because our apartment didn't look anything like the photos on the website, most of which are of the yacht club down the road and not of the apartment village itself.
The village was very pretty but it was in the middle of nowhere with a 25 minute walk to the nearest train station of which there were only 4 trains running into Olbia daily. Apart from the yacht club and beaches there was very little to do. If you book we would advise renting a car as we were incredibly restricted.
Overall, we felt that with the misinformation and unpleasant costly surprises, the holiday was not worth the price we paid for it.

Dania Son 13/10/2015 16:50The place is nicely located. Small beach is close by. It is easy by car to drive along the coast to explore Sardinia's beauty. The accommodation is reasonable, though the equipment is a bit dated. The residence has a small supermarket. Supermarket of bigger size and with higher availability are few km away (this is a common issue in any residence in Sardinia) All in all, it was a good vacation, The only disturbance was the unfriendly manager, I believe Mrs Laura. She welcomed us quite badly and was repeatedly unfriendly and rude to us on few small requests. I also did not appreciate the way she was threatening her stuff, especially when confrontation was generally unnecessary and placed in front of customers. I feel for the employees who have the misadventure to work for her.

Milan Ton 23/07/2015 22:47Golfo di Marineleda is a great location of small holiday "villages", Baia de Bahas being one of them.
No huge beaches, no huge hotels. A small sandy beach in 5 minutes walk, shallow warm water ideal for kids. Half an hour from the airport at Olbia.
The location seems to be used mainly by Italians, who travel by car. Difficult for those who do not speak Italian. Only one restaurant at the place (a bit on the expensive side), on the other hand there is a small shop with all the vegetable, pasta, cheese, meat...
We were there for the second time after three years and enjoyed it again - the small bay, no crowds and generally relaxing environment being one of the main reasons.
