I booked this hotel through a website and it was described as 4 stars which lead to a massive disappointment.
I guess it's a 2+ or 3 star hotel, the rooms are clean though tired looking and with very thin partition walls.
The staff are pleasant and the breakfast is nice.
The hotel is in an extremely noisy location, there is some industrial building with loud ventilators on all night, so sleep was very difficult.
Frankly if I had known it were 3 stars instead of passing itself as 4 I would have left a better review.

Se você estiver de carro, tudo bem; o hotel é bom.
Alguns membros do plantao sao muito atenciosos e prestativos, especialmente Paulo na recepcao. Destaque especial para Denise no restaurante do hotel; ela é uma pessoa exceicionalmente atenciosa e gentil.
This hotel is good if you are traveling by car.
Some of the members of the staff are very attentive and helpful, especially Paulo from reception. Special highlight for Denise at the hotel restaurant, she´s an exceptionally caring individual.

Really bad place, find another one. Very expensive, the front desk guy tried to charge us an extra price and they dont accept credit cards. Its not safe to walk around this hotel. They tried to charge us almost 400 r$

I was already three times in this Hotel with my wife always for 2-3 days before we flew home.
The Hotel is not far away from the Airport and very close is a excellent brazilian Restaurant with all kind of steaks. :-)
I felt more unsafe at the beach area with many strange people hanging around. Breakfast was good and the rooms clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately there is a small Favela behind the Hotel but I was never harassed by pepole who life there. Just a 10 minute walk away is Southamerica biggest Shopping Center!
The good thing is that the majority of Hotel guests are Business traveller so not many tourists. Of course I wouldn't stay here for 2-3 weeks of my summer holidays.
The only negative thing is the swimming pool. Far too much chlorine in there and not very clean.

Everything a hotel shouldn't be/have: bad location (unsafe and far from the beach), dirty or peeling walls, noisy air conditioning, abandoned pool and fitness center, disgusting food, bad and slow service, poor quality linen... Ah, I almost forgot to tell my room view: a slum.
