Have been travelling to Nerja for 24 years and have always stayed over in the more residential side by Burriana beach. However travelling with friends for a weekend we wanted to be in the heart of Nerja. This is a great boutique style property. On a busy road with a great coffee bar underneath - very popular with the locals. Lots of great tapas bars around. However the room was so quiet with great double glazed windows and brilliant Air con. Twin beds, pushed together very comfy. Plenty of room in the wardrobe - with hangers! and a safe. Lovely little bathroom with a nice hot shower and a great hairdryer. I know someone reviewed before and said the hairdryer was not very good, so I think these may have been changed because they are brilliant now. My friend in the room next door said the same. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the street. Very clean and tidy room. We didn't use the rooftop pool as we do prefer an umbrella and being August it was very hot up there, so we tended to head for the beach.

Highly recommend this 2 star hotel which was as good as any 4 star hotel we've stayed in before. Spotlessly clean, bright with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location too. Rooftop pool was an added bonus.

Wonderful cosy hotel

Amazing hotel though its only 2 stars. You almost wont believe thats its only 2 stars, execpt for the lac of breakfast. Nearby cafes offer breakfast cheap. All in all this hotel is fantastic! Thank you Bajamar and wonderful Nerja!

Great hotel

Loved the Bajamar,nice clean room,staff really helpful and friendly,comfortable beds too.The roof top pool was an added bonus to this fab hotel.The cafe bajamar serves the best coffee milk in Nerja along with sandwiches ,toasties etc.Nerja is a traditional Spanish town ,no high rise apartments no later louts ,a friendly relaxed feel with lots of Spanish families in the square on an evening.Lots of places to eat ,drink and watch the world go by.Would definitely recommend both the Bajamar and Nerja

do not book this hotel with free cancelation as they will try and take money for deposit two weeks before your date and within two days cancel your booking then offer the same rooms for more money sharp practice be aware we now have flights but no hotel
