Great place
YASAR Ton 07/06/2017 05:06This place is breathtaking, the view, the boat rides and amazing food. The prices are affordable and employees friendly. I enjoyed taking walks to the hills around. I felt safe too. Highly recommend. Can't wait for next time
serinity and reaxation
Saadet Con 03/10/2016 20:37The hotel is accessed by boat, right on top of the sea, wonderful view and relaxing environment. If your vacation goal is to go crazy not a place for you but if your goal is all about relaxation Wonderfull place. Friendly staff, family like environment, good food, one of the best seas I have been in. They take you on boat to near islands and beaches upon request. Not a place for luxury but relaxing, clean and comfortable.
Incredible location, average suites
TunaUston 18/09/2016 10:12We stayed there for 3 days. The location is absolutely stunning, the sea is one of the calmest and cleanest in Turkey. The sunset was phenomenal. Staff was friendly and polite. I would rank 5 stars if I was ranking the location only. However, the hotel definitely needs some maintenance as the rooms have multiple problems. Other than that the food was not great. Their "levrek" and octopus was amazing but I can't say the same to their other foods. Besides, kitchen was very slow. The hotel is unreachable via land, so they pick you up with a boat. That could be a plus if you like to be isolated or a minus if you are one of those you like to explore the area
the worst holiday experience i had
Ayça Kon 15/09/2016 21:14This has been the worst holiday experience I ever had for a long time. The room was not the one committed to me. The first offering I had insect in the food and the service lady didn't give a s. about it as if that was some kind of normal. The room dusty and the bathroom awful. I could not stay another day, they charged me the stay which is far too high than the merit of this place. This place sucks, very bad experience, I highly recommend you don't go to this place
Off the beaten track
paul mon 14/10/2015 18:19So why did we choose Baldan Suite? To be honest when we arrived and realized our room was 111 steps almost straight up the side of a steep hill, from the main sea deck area and the room had no view and other things such as a poor shower and lack of storage, we wondered if we'd chosen wrong this year. But we chose it because of it's size (only 10 rooms) it's close proximity to the warm Turkish sea (literally over the top of it) and the excellent reviews for the food. We got an upgrade to a far superior room, with views to die for out over the crystal blue ocean with ships and boats of all shapes and sizes drifting by and one day even a giant green turtle only 50 feet from the hotel. The transfer from Dalaman is long; 2 hours, but the scenery is diverse and stunning. The transfer took us to the marina at Bozburun, then we had to phone the hotel and they came and collected us by boat (the only way to get there or get off) You could ask to be taken back to the main land at any time of day or even very late into the evening if you wanted to eat at other restaurants. We found the place incredibly quiet and relaxing with nothing much to do other than sleep, read or drink cold beers from the plentiful sun loungers and when you got too hot, it was all of 2 feet away to dive into the sea to cool off. At night the sun loungers were replaced by tables and chairs and you are then sitting at the edge of the decking with the sea beneath with lights shinning gently out to illuminate the fish, with about a billion stars over head. Food was excellent and plentiful; we had the fish catch of the day every night, with salad and a bottle of wine. We had, bream, squid, octopus, grouper and other local fish, with Cesar, Greek or Mediterranean salads that were big enough for two without the main fish. Don't go here for anything other than total relaxation, with a very easy going atmosphere. We were the only English people there and most guests seemed to stay a few days, then move on and a lot were from Istanbul and all very friendly. We saw and heard of no issues concerning immigrants and the troubles of the world soon disappeared into oblivion. I was more than delighted when I got home and received my credit card bill, as for 8 evening meals with a bottle of wine, lunches, beers, coffees and room upgrade (we were B&B, so other meals were extra) I was charged £850. For two of us, I was impressed. One little surprise was that on our way back to Bozburun for our return trip home, in the little motor boat with the hotel owner, I actually felt a pang of leaving emotion and realized how lovely and perfect this "off the beaten track" hotel had been for us. Would we go back? yes almost certainly one day. It's not perfect, in that some of it's amenities or condition of some furniture and bathroom fittings, so some people could be disappointed with, but the peace and views and ocean and staff and food etc etc all make up for any slightly low score areas.
