Fantastic part of Rome
mrsglass1on 07/06/2017 18:33I have just returned today from a 6 night stay at Baldassini for my daughter's 18th birthday and we had an amazing time. The B & B is perfectly placed - furthest we walked was 30 minutes and many places of interest less than that. The location had numerous restaurants and bars within seconds away, all offering lovely food at good prices. As a Mum travelling alone with my daughter I was concerned about our safety but there was no need - the area is lovely and safe, people were very friendly and helpful and we felt safe the whole time we were there.
The room itself was lovely - it has been updated since the photos on websites and was very modern while also feeling Italian. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful - he even printed our passes for Vatican and recommended local restaurants. He answered all our questions by WhatsApp instantly and made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast was a croissant and drink served at local restaurant which was lovely but after reading reviews, we had been expecting a more continental breakfast served in the room. This was possibly the only very minor disappointment.
This was our first time in Rome and we are completely smitten. We managed to see all the places we wanted to and more..... My daughter is interested in photography and took over 2500 photographs so plenty memories to remember.
I would recommend this B and B to anyone and will be staying here again when we return to Rome in the not too distant future (hopefully).

A hidden treasure
Theresa Jon 23/11/2016 19:31We were steps away from everything we wanted to visit in Rome, with the perfect setting, hidden behind a simple door in a tiny street. The room was comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast they delivered to the room each morning was just a nice way to start the day.
Great position
Reginald555on 15/08/2016 22:25The position of the B&B is very good. Our room was very little and had an extern but private bathroom, it was a bit strange but for 2 nights not a problem. The breakfast was ok, but one day some bread slice was moldy and after we reported it the staff immediately replaced the moldy bread slice. The staff cleaned the room and the bathroom every day.
Great location for a stay in Rome
jayf422on 19/07/2016 02:05This was a great location. We could walk everywhere. It was clean, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and we got directions and help in where to go after we landed at the airport. I will stay there again.
Great location and quality for the price!
HEATHER Son 25/06/2016 15:33The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of several major attractions and excellent food options. It was a quiet area, perfect for a good nights sleep to recharge for the next day. Everything was very clean and well kept.
The only issue we had with the room was with the shower. It didn't drain well so you were standing in water by the time you finished your shower. The shower was small, which is typical, but the curtain would stick to you and move each time you turned around so water ended up all over the bathroom floor.
Despite the shower issue we enjoyed our stay and couldn't have been more happy with the location and comfort of the room. It was a great quality and location for the money.
