Not a good one for sure!
RIsabelMHon 05/07/2017 11:01This is our last night in Bali and even if we made a reservation in advance for 3 families, they gave us the rooms near the road (!) with 2 individual beds each only, when what we requested was a king bed and an extra one.
They said the rooms with king bed were fully booked, so we asked to change to a deluxe room, the staff showed us a room with the view of an empty lot full of garbage (!)
Thanks god we will stay only one night here but we do not recommend this hotel for sure!
Fabulous Resort but with credit card issues!
PJandDJon 03/07/2017 15:51Initially my review of this resort would have been very positive with a 5 star rating. Our holiday there was excellent in all ways, however when we checked out their EFTPOS machine was allegedly not working. We settled our account in full with the promise that our 2,000,000 IDR security deposit would be refunded ASAP. However three weeks later, and after 4 emails sent to the resort, we are still waiting for the refund. This has now been referred to our bank as potential "credit card fraud". Hope no other travellers have been caught out in this way.
Super friendly staff
czkamion 30/06/2017 18:12We have stayed a week in this lovely hotel. We we are greeted by the reception staff and offered cool towel and a drink upon arrival. Our cases were taken care of promptly and all staff speaks English making checking in easy and stress free. We were shown around the resort and then taken to our room Deluxe Bungalows offer spacious accommodation in traditional Balinese style with an outside terrace. Bathrooms have both bath and shower although the decor is a little dated. Amenities include a fridge, air conditioning Tv and superb wifi reception in the room and throughout the resort.
Although this is a relatively small resort there are three restaurants and five bars, spa, decent pool and several pool tables, table tennis and darts. You can also rent bicycles or a motorcycle to explore surrounding areas. Overall we had a great stay being looked after wonderful hotel staff.
Practical tips:
Breakfast - quirky but tasty selection of continental, English and Balinese food
Laundry - Bali is quite humid but hotel charges reasonable rates for washing
Snacks etc. - there is a small but well stocked convenience store; you can get your daily fix of munchies, drinks and even fresh pastries
Currency - hotel offers exchange services at good rates - much better than rates in the UK
Beach - disappointing. Nothing much to see or do - water is quite murky and unappealing.
Transport - beware of airport "helpers" that will automatically load your luggage on a trolley and help you to your car - what they don't tell you is that they will charge you 50K IRD for 200m walk...
If looking for a day tour use Suweca Ketut - superb, reliable, friendly knowledgeable guide.
Fantastic Spot!
BigBooty64on 30/06/2017 05:22Just loved it here and came back to stay after our stay in Tanah Lot. The rooms are spacious 42 m2 and this property is right on the beach. The rooms are spotless with huge bathroom and balcony.
The pool is amazing with swim up bar and they have sun lounges on the beach with shade which is where I spent most of my days!
Staff are so friendly too!
Close to other restaurants in the street as well.
Definitely will come back here.
brilliant holiday
