At the edge of very good
Mihály Von 13/06/2014 10:27The history behind is that the building was a residence and then transformed into a hotel (see also the two entrances getting to different streets - easing accessibility). The history determines also today's functionality. Large, spacious rooms, comfortable bath room, very kind personnel, excellent location in the middle of the city, surrounded by a good variety of restaurants. The breakfast is good, the choice and quality of omelettes is noteworthy. I would highlight the kindness of the personnel. Wifi is also reliable. For business purposes fully suitable.
Average but on the upper side

Paper thin walls, poor beds

If you are a deep sleeper, don't mind listening to the TV in the rooms either side, can sleep on mattresses with the springs jutting out, it's fine. They have free wifi, the staff are lovely, there is free breakfast and the cook does a great omelette, and it's clean. However, if you are a light sleeper you may not get much rest. It's in the centre of Baku, which is great. And either side are roads that are dead ends, which is also good, because you don't get traffic. However there are bars that stay open late. So bring your ear plugs. I am looking for an alternative because, although I have stayed here several times, this last visit wasn't great.
