From the very first greeting we knew our stay was going to be wonderful. The staff was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was centralized and close to all attractions. We highly recommend The Ballastone and we will most definitely return.

The Inn was all that was advertised. The staff was very helpful & friendly. Location is great for historical sightseeing & near very good restaurants. If seeing the historical sights, they can provide you with hop on hop off trolley tours, great value. Would definitely stay there again!

Visiting Savannah for the first time and choosing the Ballastone Inn to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary, my husband and I were elated as the Ballastone Inn is a mansion displaying southern charm at it's best. The charming rooms take you back in time to great southern living with very comfortable beds. The Inn is located within walking distance of many historical sites and restaurants including the famous River Street. In meeting the Inn keeper Jennifer, I found her to be a gracious host who had great pride in her establishment as she was quite friendly and easy to talk to. One member of her staff, Derek made our trip more than satisfying as he went above and beyond to fulfill our every want and need! Derek provided the type of customer service that is top notch and not seen often or at all these days. He is a gem and should be commended for his efforts. I have raved about the Ballastone Inn to several of our friends upon returning home who plan to pay them visit in the NEAR future because of our recommendation. My husband and I also plan to revisit Savannah and most definitely will stay at the Ballastone Inn as no other Inn will do!

Very impressed with the Ballastone Inn. It is very nice, well kept, and centrally located in the historic district, making it very easy to get around. We really enjoyed it and will recommend it to friends!

This was our first trip to Savannah and this was a great place to stay. We accidentally arrived a day early but the hotel graciously accommodated us for the extra night. The hotel is centrally located and very convenient. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, from the desk staff to waitstaff in the morning to their lovely housekeeper. They know you by name and make sure all your needs are met. The afternoon tea is fabulous as are the breakfasts. My parents really enjoyed the port and sherry at night too! The rooms are very comfortable and we found the hotel to be pretty quiet. We stayed in the peach leather and Mary musgrove rooms. Some people have complained here about the street noise and plumbing noise. Well street noise is minimal and very normal for a city, as for the plumbing well if you have ever been in an older two story home that is just what plumbing sounds like nothing out of the ordinary and we all slept really well. We really enjoyed our stay and I loved getting to meet the owners sweet dog when we arrived. If you are looking for a cute, quaint very Savannah place to stay the Ballastone is the place to book
