Excellent all the way!

Our Norwegian family visited this hotel for two nights and we will highly recommend this hotel. The only thing missing for us was perhaps a pool area, but this was no deal-breaker for us when choosing . From arrival to departure the service was very welcomingand we really felt appreciated as customers and that they had a personal touch. This is easier to do of course as they do not have that many rooms - BUT not everyone manages to do so despite that fact. We had two double rooms, each very modern and clean with good beds and baths. All amenities were available at the room. Breakfast was also spot-on for variety and frehsness. The added bonus of having a greeting card to us personally at the table was also that type of personal touch one appreciates. Please stay here- the surrounding area is beautiful with its wineries and a quaint town to stroll through - much better to stay here than in Vienna itself as it is only 25 min drive away anyway.

A friend and I stayed at Hotel Turmhof Gumpoldskirchen for a wedding reception taking place across the way in the winery and the stay was nothing short of five stars. The staff was accommodating to our complicated arrival and departure, arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the Vienna train station, and was overall great. They provide a great breakfast with plenty of delicious food and drinks.
The one drawback is the distance to the train station if you don't have a car. It's a good 15 mins walk and trains to Vienna come 2 or 3 times an hour.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel!

Still as friendly and comfortable as ever...

...and still one of our favorite hotels anywhere. Last week was our second visit, about the same time as our 2016 stay, and once again we were delighted. No specific comments to add here, which is another way of saying that the Turmhof is well-managed and consistently excellent. With any luck, we'll be back once again...

We toured Prague, Budapest and Vienna and stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels. this hotel is just great! The service, breakfast and location make it our new favorite place to visit. the church bells are a great touch for such an alpine setting. We loved the maker walking trials above the hotel.

Great quiet location. balconies on the rooms, fast wi-fi and an excellent breakfast for not a very high price. Good newly renovated rooms with nice bathrooms and excellent beds.

Very nice staff with good English skills and very knowledgable and willing to share with you.
