Beautiful building from the outside but a real let down on the inside, this place could be amazing if there was more money spend on it. We used the thermal spa area which was lovely but a bit crowded, i think they should have less people going through it each hour but for €20 per person its great value and fun to do. We had a coffee at the terrace at the front of the hotel but the staff weren't great and we had to ask to get the correct change from €20 for a coffee and water so service was not great at their cafe.

The place is simply fantastic. An old and well preserved building that has genuine and authentic vibe.
Unfortunately, if you choose one of the "normal rooms" (without if being a "suite"), it leaves a lot to be desired for a rate above 100e/night : old furniture and appliances.
We didn't have the chance to use the SPA, maybe that would have compensated for the "just average" room.

Would have liked to stay longer than one night! A lovely hotel, very clean and our family room was quite spacious and comfortable.
We decided not to eat in the restaurant as there was not much choice for our daughter who is a picky eater! Indtead we found a lovely place just a two minute walk away. Breakfast was very nice with a large selection. With a check out time of midday, we had time to explore the town and it's spas and then had a nice swim in the pool. A lovley place to stay - highly recommended.

Arrived here not knowing quite what to expect. The amazing building (very similar to the bizarre Templeton Carpet Factory building in Glasgow) has an impact, but the people wandering around in dressing gowns made me feel I had landed in some obscure Alpine sanitarium....it is a spa however, and the fault here is mine. The check in was a bit strange, with the receptionist ignoring our Spanish, preferring to speak in French, although we are Scottish. When we got the rooms at 3pm. some more confusion had set in, with our son being given our suite, and us being directed to a 2nd suite, which we couldn't enter as the keys were for the 1st room. 4 trips to reception later, we managed to sort this out.
The rooms are very different, with the suite being much different in standard to the normal room. The suite has no internal bath, meaning that if you want a bath, this can only be done on the balcony in the jacussi placed there. Not the most discrete setting! We were concerned about service, as there were numerous shards of glass on the floor of the balcony, some previous occupant having obviously broken a glass.
Air con and wi fi were good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very busy, and the choices were good.
The outdoor pool was a good size for exercise, but opening hours were restrictive.
Certainly an interesting place, and in general, a good standard.

We have just returned from a 2 night ( 3 day ) visit.Everything about the place was
excellent.We had a very nice room with a small balcony.The room was very clean and comfortable and even had a fridge.
All the staff were extremely friendly and efficient.I would especially like to mention
Fina in reception and the restaurant manager.They really seemed to be enjoying their
job and although they were very busy nothing was too much trouble.
We were there on a half board basis and the food was delicious and the service
first class.The other meals we had in the cafeteria were also very good.
On Saturday evening there was live music on the terrace which we enjoyed a lot.
The pool area and the spa were great and even though the hotel was full it never
seemed overcrowded.
There is ample onsite parking and the quaint village is only a 5 minute walk away:
I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this property:
My wife and I will definitely be going there again.
