another brilliant holiday
olivia mon 06/08/2017 11:32we came back from bamburi beach hotel on the 21st july 2017 where we enjoyed 21 nights, another great holiday, the food and drink was fantastic as were the staff, the hotel is right on the beach, what more could anybody want, and if you want to go on a safari, or haller park ect, it is all here for everybody to make the most of, and yes we will go back again.
Got a good seaview room
MsMaaon 06/08/2017 04:17We got a good room sea facing at no extra cost our room was spacious and clean. The food was ok buffet mainly first day we stayed at BB and next 2 took the all inclusive package which was better but my alcohol is limited they give only very cheap ones which is what most of the all inclusive offers around Mombasa give. All of the staff were friendly apart from the reception we had a bad expereince every time we went there from check in to check out the ladies need to be changed dont even bother training because their attitude was just off.
AMAZING!!!!!
Meg Son 03/08/2017 08:27It was beyond our expectation
The service was amazing
The rooms are alright only that there needs to be a change of the tvs and channels
The pools were fantastic
The food was very good
The stuff are friendly😊
We did have a good time and yes I would definitely come back.
The check in was okay although we felt left out at some point but we understand probably it was the number of people at the reception and the receptionist were overwhelmed with too many check ins.
GOOD WORK BAMBURI😊
Lovely hotel
Sarah Jon 28/07/2017 09:56It's the first time I've been to bamburi beach hotel, and what I can say I mean for the heart the staff, go out a long way to make your holiday very special, cosmas, who works in the pool bar he is so happy to help you, we all called him cosmas taxi, because nothing was to much trouble, also my lovely girls Margaret, and Gertrude who serve you at all your meals, and happy to get what you would like, I can truly say hand on heart it was one of the best holidays of my life, so life changing, from the people, to safari yes it could do with a lick of paint but to me that's nothing, also when you come on to the beach you might meet up with lucky, Jay and electronic eleis who will all look out for you when on the beach, I can't wait to come back loved every minute xxx well done the staff also not forgetting Brighton, and James the djs, love you all so much xxx
Nice family hotel for a great few days at the beach
Dutchy911on 26/07/2017 11:04We stayed at the Bamburi Beach Resort to finish off our week safari. On arrival we were checked in swiftly. After some welcome drinks we were brought to our connecting rooms. There is a mini bar and a double and a single bed per room.
From the tap the water is salty and you should not drink it. Fortunately the Bamburi supply’s bottles of water in the room. The beds are really old and could use a new mattress.
We rooms had a great view on the pool and the beach, there is a large balcony where it’s nice to enjoy the evening breeze. In the morning you are welcomed by little monkeys on your balcony.
The food we must say was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner we never had a feeling we had anything to wish for. Only strange thing is that diet coke is not all inclusive. That costs 160 shilling per bottle.
The wine is not great but the beer is nice and cold. We mostly stuck to sparkling water.
There are two pools which are nice, the children loved to play in them all week.
What we really enjoyed was walking along the beach, there are many vendors trying to sell you stuff but it’s all in a friendly way so nothing to be worried about. We took some small bills with us to give some money away to people who really looked like they needed it.
The beach is extremely nice to walk on as the sand is super smooth and the tide difference makes the views change all the time. Security is good.
We ran through the park opposite of the street with Ben the personal trainer. Entrance to the park is 600 a person and we thought it was quite basic. We saw a green tree snake, some antelopes and a big owl.
We took a few rides to the shopping center to go to the ATM and have a stroll but there is not much to see and it’s expensive there.
So to conclude, we really enjoyed ourselves a lot here, we might even come back to Mombassa but next time a little update of the rooms would be welcomed.
