Last minute Saturday evening meal.
Kathryn Oon 08/08/2017 08:55Having checked into a local hotel it was necessary to find somewhere to eat as the hotel didn't offer meals. Banchory lodge was a very lucky find. The restaurant manager didn't think there was a possibility of a table as they were so busy. However he returned to say he had one available now! The food, wine,staff, meal, decor and entire service was amazing! One of the highlights of the whole holiday! Fully recommended.

jojo513on 06/08/2017 19:41I stayed here for 2 nights whilst on business. The setting is just fabulous and wonderful if you have dogs with you as I did. Right away from any roads and with walks on the doorstep.My room was huge as was the bathroom and everything was very clean. Yes, the decor was a little tired but it was still value for what it offered.The bed enormous and super comfortable. The service was excellent all round. The food was really very good too. The hotel is charmingly unpretentious and excellent value for money. I would go back with again my family.
Wonderful setting and delish food
Rebecca Hon 06/08/2017 09:50The setting with the river nearby is magical. The restaurant is updated with kitschy dog portraits. It was very cool and trendy. We had the seafood feast and it was amazing! Our waiter Davit was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.
Great food & service
EllaE2834on 04/08/2017 10:47I've dined here twice recently & on both occasions there were functions going on in other parts of the hotel - they in no way detracted from the service or quality of food! On both occasions it was busy - very busy - but the staff were unflustered & attentive & the food first class! I look forward to my next visit!
Delicious Sunday lunch
PennyMay13on 02/08/2017 09:00Recently visited the hotel with my husband and young baby without a reservation and luckily they had a booth which was perfect as we had a car seat with us. I had the roast beef and my husband the beef burger and both were delicious. There was a wedding on but we both commented that there were plenty of staff and the ones we dealt with were very friendly and professional. We've driven by a few times as the entrance sign doesn't do the Lodge justice (it's always looked a little tired to us) but so glad we decided to try it and will certainly be back.
