Very Convenient to Train, Comfortable Rooms, Very Very Friendly and Homelike

FIRST off, there is no sign. It is very easy to find with your App, about 400 yards from Termini Train Station. The street and number are well marked. Use the intercom to call 79 and they'll open the door. It opens into a lovely marble staircase. At the top you'll meet delightful Igenia Totti, the resident owner. Her English is limited, but she will make you feel at home. SECOND, I do NOT believe there are en suite bathrooms at all. OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. She served us a delicious large snack when we arrived, and atypically for Rome, she didn't charge us for it. Three other families were there and we had to wait for the restroom briefly. We enjoyed the homelike environment, excellent WiFi and TV, snacks, large room, and neighborhood. Even Sta. Totti's lack of personal space isn't objectionable after many nights in very impersonal, cold, unhelpful and expensive rooms across Europe. Yes you can find better rooms in Rome, but expect to pay a LOT more and probably get less, certainly you'll get a smaller room and pay a lot more, easily E150 or more per night in Rome + 15% or more tax! A Casa Totti will be my home away from home in Rome in the future, even if I do have to share the WC!

Nice apartment in the center of Rome near Termini Station, where you can relax in a quiet environment away from the city noise.

The hostess welcomes every guest as a long-awaited guest.

The only downside is it, as to get out of the room WC, you must go through all living and dining area.

Everything else viewed only positively - good breakfast, good wi-fi, the opportunity to dine in the courtyard garden, and, of course, very responsive hostess.

Come to Rome and stay at Casa Totti - and you will enjoy.

How this place is allowed to exist is beyond me

I can't imagine how someone will give a good review to this place. First of all, we paid for a room with a private bath and what we got was a room at the other end of the house and the SHARED bathroom. Fortunately no one was staying there at the time. It was like staying with a pestering nonna. Totti came into our room uninvited multiple times. she keeps the air conditioning control in her bedroom, so you have to ask for it. The house smells like it has been closed for various centuries and there are bugs in the bed. Also a cat came into my room when I opened the door in the morning. I guess some people like this homey feel but when you are paying $80/night I rather not. Oh, it does have a patio area but the description never says it has around 20 cats lying around. Totti is a very nice person but I truly think is a rip-off. Spend a little bit more and get a better place for you stay in Rome.

Nice B&B - Good location

We stayed 3 nights in this cosy B&B closed to Termini station.
The owner was an old lady (Iginia ) very kind and helpful , could not speak English but we understood each other no problem.
Good breakfast and nice garden, the only think I was not happy with was the bathroom/Toilet was in the other side of the office.
We had to walk through the office for every time using the toilet !
The area is a bit rough as it is closed to the biggest train station, on the other hand it has been an advantage for transport purposes,

Mrs Totti is a nice lady, she speaks only Italian and a bit French and Spanish but she is willing to help you. The hostel was actually a house with three bedrooms so you have a feeling that you visit your grandmother. The room was OK but not so clean, the breakfast was nothing special. The area is not proper for single girls since you feel a bit insecure during the night with all drunk and homeless people go around the train station - TERMINI.
