Lovely stay
advensykeron 18/01/2017 07:09Decided to do a spontaneous short trip to somewhere to celebrate the new year. Flights to Milan were at the moment of booking the cheapest. But since I was already there in the summer decided to go somewhere else. Turned out to be Bergamo. Hotel prices were through the roof at the time of booking so looked for cheaper, practical and with good reviews. This was a very short trip, however enjoyed my stay very much at this B&B. Loved the "family owned " feeling & service I received. Ate my new year dinner at their restaurant which was delicious. Place was packed. Breakfast was your typical sugary sweet breakfast that I get to experience everytime I'm in Italy. The sugar rush did help me explore the city on new year's day as my flight left in the late evening. It was not possible to leave my carry-on at the b&b but at the trainstation there is a self service luggage/locker area for 4 euro. Free Wi-Fi through out the main Streets of Bergamo. Enjoyed the modern room and clean bathroom. Will stay here again if I'm in the area.
