Roman hospitality at it's best & great location
ContessaHawaiion 23/10/2014 19:48Perfectly situated on the corner of the 8th floor, the B & B offers stunning views over the city, as well as a small terrace for 2 from one of the rooms. Most of the furnishings in the rooms, as well as in the public area are gorgeous antiques ranging from the 700's to mid-19th century, that give the place a warm and gracious charm. You can feel that this intimate place is well loved and has history. I especially loved the 100 % cotton sheets, which I found out are washed, dried on a roof top terrace and hand ironed by our host!! This is just one of the special touches and consideration of this B & B that is worth returning to! Thankfully the breakfast is abit more than the typical Roman breakfast of a cornetto and coffee, there was enough variety to satisfy the morning hunger before hitting the sidewalk for touring! It's near the University, so the transportation to the center is very close, bus, metro are just a few stops from center and it's within walking distance to Termini train station. There are many inexpensive places to eat in the area due to the student population and proximity to the medical center. Patrizia speaks English well and is delightful! She and Sergio really go out of their way to assist for a perfect stay in Rome. Oh and one last thing...beloved pets are welcome here too! THEY get their picture on the wall :) Extremely well priced for what you get in return.
Great Place to stay

Will definitely return to Casa Roma whenever I come back to Rome.

DorinelaCon 08/04/2013 11:46The B&B Casa a Roma is situated in a quiet location of the “Eternal Rome city”. Near the La Sapienza University offers you a wide range of public transportation to the center. Metro stations and bus station very close to the B&B. Widely range of restaurants, trattorie, osterie markets and bars open till late offer you a lot of services. Close to the Roma Termini train station (10 min on foot) gives you the opportunity to freely travel and avoid taxi and pollution costs. The rooms are lovely. The furniture of renaissance style hugs you as you enter. Wonderful and comfortable beds with a variety of rooms to choose. Free High-Speed Internet. The owners are simply fantastic and very helpful. The most extraordinary element of this B&B is the fact that it has a story to tell. You may be wondering which is it?!!!You have to stay there and find it written in a brochure over the room table. Wonderful experience!!!!
