'The Cave'
elsboussemaereon 02/08/2017 12:11Upon arrival, we met Angelo, who tried to explain in not so good English how to park our car (15€ per day). Very boastful on having 20 rooms in the city, he accompanied us to our room. We booked with Travelbird and we had a standard room : it happened to be a room down below surface, with no windows, a real cave and no possibility, except for the door, to see or to be outside. As I explained that my partner was claustrophobic, he exclaimed that every room was booked and well, that we just had a 'standard' room. We had booked for 3 days and it turned out to be a catastrophe. We really got depressed by our room. Although the bed was good, the shower did not work properly and we had put on the lights to see anything. Angelo did meet us the following days but did not make any offer to change rooms. After two days, we had enough and booked another room in another city. We didn't want to spoil our holidays further. Upon checking out, the lady in charge reacted astonished, stating that another room had been available...but then we already had made other arrangements. Oh yes, Angelo even had another offer to make : if we wanted to rent a seat on the beach, he could take care of this : 40€ for 2 persons per day. Needless to say we declined...
Rustic hideaway
jerseygirl632014on 18/07/2017 13:07This is a review of The Suite, which is a self contained apartment away from the main B & B. We stayed here for 4 nights in July based on the trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The reception and B & B are in a central square and the suite is a few hundred yards away, the bar that breakfast is served in is very close and convenient and the breakfast is varied and plentiful. The suite is full of character and very rustic, if you like modern decor this isn't for you but we loved it. The accommodation is on three floors, the first is the small but quaint kitchen, dining room and well equipped bathroom, then upstairs to the bedroom which has everything you need. Upstairs again to a hot tub and a balcony that overlooks the street. The overall atmosphere is Italian rustic and very private. The cleaner comes daily and the welcome wine was appreciated. We would recommend this accommodation.
Amazing location and host!
Viorica Lon 03/07/2017 13:34We had a short holiday of 1 week at Polignano a Mare and our host from Casa dei Serafini is the best ever! We got the Executive suite which is not only facing the sea and has a nice design but you have your own indoor cave too. Amazing breakfast and amazing hospitality!
Grand deluxe apartment in centro storico
pwallamyon 15/06/2017 14:09Absolutely wonderful. Great location in the busy centro area yet relatively quiet after midnight. Gorgeous view from the rooftop terrace. 2 bedrooms with sofa bed and 1.5 baths which was handy for 3 adults and 2 kids. Very modern and clean and full kitchen and washing machine. Antonia was wonderful and helped any time we needed a thing. Beds were a bit firm for my taste but would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Charming place

They will wait for you at their private parking a few minutes walk from the center and guide you to the reception, a small office in the main town square. The apartments are scattered all around the center, a few steps from each other and they are so charming. Naked stone walls, very romantic decoration, nice details and amazing welcoming service. Can't wait to try the breakfast at the Serafini cafe in the square.
