Our room was very nice and comfortable and had a lovely balcony with beautiful views of the Cyclops Riviera. The host are friendly and genuine people and have a true passion for their business. Would definitely recommend!

An oasis in a busy region

Pupi B&B is situated close to the agglomeration of Catania and so it's a very busy region with lots of traffic at most moments of the day. Peppe's B&B offers a haven of peace in this hustle and bustle. He and his team (Liga but also the cleaning women and the gardener) are all equally sympathetic. Peppe has the best hidden addresses and tips for you, and this brought us to Tattoria d 'Aldo'n in Catania, where you eat la cucina della mama like black spaghetti with squid, delicious grilled fish, antipasti and of course the regional specialty Penne a la norma.
The B & B is the ideal base for exploring Eastern Sicily. We visited in one week the villages down the sea (Aci Castello, Aci Trezza etc) but also Catania itself a few times, Stromboli, Etna, Syracuse and Taormina.
A better host than Peppe Caudullo can not be desired. This is a special place with a very special vibe. Everything is super clean and the Sicilian breakfast with the 'performance' of the chef is great ;-).
If we have to be a little bit critical: there is a rather busy street in the front (but at the back you don't really hear it) and there is a railway line nearby (we were used to it after one day, but real rest seekers should not be here, they're better be looking for something really in the countryside).

The experience of our stay in this B&B was simply amazing in a nice and quiet area. Peppe Caudullo the owner is a great guy who made us feel like we are at home during our 4 days stay. Peppe also told us where we should visit and where to eat. He asked us what we want for breakfast and also gave us sicilian delicious sweets, cappucino and fruits. The room was very clean and with good space, also we had a balcony in our room with nice views of the city and the sea.

Great host, magnificent view, nice room.

There may be many good reasons to stay at “Pupi” B&B in Aci Castello, Sicily, but the best reason is its host: Peppe Caudullo. He works around the clock to make his guests feel at home. If there is an award for being the nicest man in Sicily, Peppe would certainly win it. The breakfast he serves consists of (local) pastries, fruit, tea, and a nice espresso. At the same time he gives advice about which sites to visit, nice restaurants in the neighbourhood and all other kinds of things you may ask him about. It is hard to make him stop talking.

The B&B itself is situated at the side of hill, overseeing the Riviera dei Ciclopi, part of the Ionian Sea. Watching the sun rise over the sea, with a view on the ruins of the Norman Castle of Aci Castello, is a magnificent sight you can enjoy from your balcony.

The rooms are simple but clean, equipped with air conditioning. And for those who like cats, this place is even more fun. A couple of kittens are running around, sometimes sleeping under your bed or demolishing the curtains, or looking for some shadow on your balcony. In short: this is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

Peppe's charming B&B was the first place I stayed when visiting Sicily for the first time. Being the great hosts that they are, Peppe and Egidio were warm and full of inside information. Without Peppe, I wouldn't have found any of the spots in nearby Catania or Aci Castello that are now some of my favorite places in the world. The B&B is clean, quite, and offers a world class breakfast featuring treats locally made from all around the area. Above all, it's the view that will take your breath away. If you want to see this side of Sicily in style, then let Peppe be your guide.
