Always feel at home
Tcolwellon 09/06/2017 18:53This was our fifth stay and again this year our team of 8 weren't disjointed. Our own private apartment including breakfast and a 15 minute walk from the Vatican Museum. Walking is a way of life in Rome so be prepared to walk at least 5 mile a day unless you like paying cab fares.
Wonderful Visit
Chandrika Gon 18/11/2016 12:35We stayed at B&B Le Terazze for about fifteen days and it was an excellent visit. Mr & Mrs. Ricci made our stay very pleasant and homey. The breakfast was excellent with freshly baked crossiants and fresh fruits. It was a 10 minute walk to Vatican and a 15 minute walk to the metro. The stay was like staying in a home away from home. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Our third visit
Tcolwellon 20/06/2016 16:56We (six to seven) have stayed here 10 days at a time for the past three years and it's like returning home every year. Anna is like our mother as she does everything possible to make our stay a wonderful experience. Including fresh warm croissants most mornings. The location is within walking distance of the Vatican, a metro station and a block from the bus. Based on the economical cost for your room and breakfast it easily rates 5 stars. We'll be back in October and in June 2017.
Poor experience
KEU2015on 28/05/2015 19:58We were happy with the room and breakfast. The location was OK. We booked the room for 3 nights which was our very first stop in Italy on a 3 week vacation. Anna made arrangements to have a taxi pick us up and drop us off at the airport which was very helpful.
However, on night two, Anna slipped a note under our door telling us we had to move to her friends apartment the next morning. She explained that she had over booked and other people were taking our room on our last night. This was very inconvenient for us and would disrupt our last day plans in Rome while we spent the morning packing up and moving to someone else's apartment. I found Anna to discuss this with her. She was unwilling to consider our concerns or consider asking the new arrivals to stay at her friends since we were already settled in and only had one more night. She said they were return guests and booked the room last year. Apparently she felt since they booked first, we were out. I asked her to at least let us go over immediately to see where we would be staying and determine if it was at least suitable. She said she would call her friend to see if we could come over. After waiting sometime, I went out to find out what the status was. It was getting dark and she had not followed up with me. She said she was trying to get a hold of her. After waiting again for a long time, I went out to check with her again. She was no where to be found. Later I found her son in the apartment and he said he would call her (apparently she left for the night) and get back to me in a few minutes. He never got back to me. As we went to bed, we heard him talking with someone telling them that they did not have reservations with them and turned them away. The next morning Anna was still not there but a number of her family was. We were very uncomfortable, no one was telling us what was going on or speaking to us. There was no breakfast. We sat in our room not knowing what to do. Later we heard Ann'a voice speaking with her family. I went out to find out what was happening. Anna told me everything was resolved and we could stay. Needless to stay all of this was very upsetting. In the end my impression was that there really was no other booking but rather her family wanted to come stay and we were being kicked out so they could have our room. Anna's solution was to give up her room to her family and she stayed at her friends house. Very unprofessional and thoughtless.
Great experience
Stacy Kon 08/07/2014 01:56Unfortunately, our luggage didn't make it to Italy the same time we did, and when we arrived at the B&B a couple of days later, still without luggage, we were late, tired, dirty, and cranky. The hostess was incredible - she helped us find a parking space, got us settled in, told us where the locals shop so we could get some much needed basics, etc. We had 2 rooms which shared a bath, and while the one room was a little small, the other was larger and had a wonderful terrace. Both rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast wasn't fancy but was good - fresh crescents served on the terrace one beautiful morning!
While some people said it wasn't really a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, we walked there several times and I'd say 15 minutes was about right. I would definitely recommend this.
