Gino Carlo Pon 17/01/2017 06:47If you are in Rome and in a tight budget, you should try this out. The owner knows a bit of English so conversing with him wouldn't be a problem. Just remember that in Rome you should be informed that there will be a city tax on top of what you will be paying for this accommodation.
I'm sure it's nice, but…
WBT-Peteron 15/08/2016 12:37BT Rooms were kind enough to cancel my booking during a peak holiday period. I can tell you for certain that it was not me that cancelled, especially when they only confirmed my arrival time by email last week.
Thankfully, there was a room available in the Hotel Dei Mille next door for €55.
If you ever need to stay in Rome, do not bother with BT Rooms.
No way cheaper
jurijusp2016on 12/08/2016 14:07Just what you may expect for 30$ per night. Clean, modest shared room. Narrow shower rooms. Wi-fi is a joke in its speed, never connected. Recommend taking shower flipflops & own blanket for a comfort stay. Safety of locks is poor, so leave no precious items in the dwelling. Located near train station. On the opposite side of the street 3* hotel for 75 euro.

Gino Carlo Pon 30/05/2016 18:22Keep it up! The place is clean and comfortable and cheap! Very easy to find and very near to Roma Termini. Highly recommended on a tight budget. Wifi is a bit slow, but who cares! Breakfast is only bread and coffee and milk. But i am good with it. It was a very pleasant stay.
Neither good reception nor accommodation
John_Stallardon 27/05/2016 11:36Booked the mixed dorm with shareable bathroom.
First off, the owner was neither nice nor accommodating. I have been traveling Europe for a few months now and I can easily say this was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The reception office is right next to the two mixed rooms and is more of an office space with as many beds shoved in as humanly possible. There is barely any room to move between the beds, power outlets are few and far between, top bunks do not have any way to get in save jumping, and the "breakfast" is a packaged pastry, packaged toast, and a coffee pod you have to go into the hall next to the office to use. The room was terribly hot at night (May) and apparently you have to ask for the remote to the air conditioner which I found out when I inquired the next morning. Wifi was not connectable in the room and only worked when you sat next to the office.
The shareable bathroom was indeed a shareable bathroom that serviced the 2 downstairs rooms and office which was at least 8 people at the time and the rooms hold even more. We all had to wait in line to use the bathroom which was more like a closet turned bathroom and it contained both the shower and the toilet so if anyone was using either you were unable to do anything but wait. Not even sure if it is legal to do that but it was one of the worst set ups in the world.
Out of the 5 of us in the room, we all agreed that it was the worst room we had stayed in and 4 of us decided to leave the next morning and seek a better option. The money was not refundable for our other nights booked - which you pay for the first day- and the owner was not helpful with our complaints and got very angry when we told her about our problems with the room.
All in all, very mean people, neither receiving nor accommodating and a very misleading booking. Maybe others have better experiences outside of the mixed dorms but the mixed dorms are a scam and I would advice you to be very wary and not pay up front if you plan on trying it.
