We had a lovely meal at Banff Springs on a Saturday. We didn't use the hotel but travelled 30 mins for an evening meal with close friends.
The location and settings were stunning. The food was excellent and a great menu to choose from. There was a wedding being held in the function room so the place was really busy but this didn't affect our service at all.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Stayed for one night. The room was compact but had a lovely sea view room. Bathroom was clean. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the food was of a good quality. Breakfast was ordered off the breakfast menu. The food was a good standard. Crystal, the receptionist, was very helpful. She was on duty for our arrival and also there when we checked out. She was very knowledgable and gave us some good ideas of places to visit on our Scotland tour.
Slow service and cold food.

The view is absolutely gorgeous from the restaurant and the hotel decor has been updated slightly. But the service was terrible and totally let the place down. Concidering the cost of the food you would expect the service to be top notch. Maybe the staff were new and inexperienced but after waiting and waiting my steak sauce arrived cold. Staff seemed alot more keen to serve larger tables as they seemed to know the guests. Far too pricey for the poor service!
All round excellence.

Stopped by for supper without booking. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Building is immaculate, smartly decorated yet comfortable. We were shown to our table which had a lovely view out over the Moray Firth ( a yacht and a fishing trawler added interest). The menu was varied with a few seafood choices with local fishmonger's being the supplier. Food and drinks arrived in a timely manner and everything was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The staff are all very smartly dressed. The whole experience was a total pleasure.
Banff Springs Hotel, Alberta Canada

The 1st hotel established in the province of Alberta in the 1st National Park in Canada. Absolutely gorgeous and they keep most of it as it was originally built. Top of the line service in the most stunning area in Canada the Rocky Mountains. So many things to do or just relax and enjoy your life. Very expensive but the experience and memories will last a lifetime.
