Where to begin?? I've been all over the world and this is by far the best resort experience I've ever had. The private beach at Baoase is simply spectacular, with a helipad and cove entrance from the ocean. The waters are turquoise blue and the pristine sense of splendor is all there, with Bali decor and the use of blue and amber lighting that nudge you from one tiny corner to another. ALL vilas are beyond excellent. The canopy beds are designed in a sensual sphere of lighting from the mirrored ceiling of the bed to the bottom. From the mirrored, well lit master walk-in closet to the incredibly ornate appointments throughout, to the indoor bath/concrete sinks -- this is paradise. The outdoor master bath is enclosed by a beautiful cedar fence with a canopy of mature palm trees, which sway in the wind while you indulge yourself in the rain shower or in the huge bathtub. Words do not describe this place. I tried at least 12 times to capture the beauty on video and could NOT capture its essence. They thought of everything! If it's peace and quiet you want, it's there. If it's music and great cuisine, the live entertainment is AMAZING (the singer was a cross between John Legend and Cuban samba), if it's shopping and water sports, you've got it. And ea villa has its own small pool. The resorts pool is something out of a Balinese dream. I can go on and on; do this just once in your life. I think perhaps because Baoase was conceived as a family retreat and then expanded out of the family's quest to make it truly spectacular, they have included EVERYTHING you'd ever think to ask for. The chef is amazing and so are the people. We plan on going back for a month, maybe longer. Nothing compares.

We - a family of 6 - spent nearly 14 days at the resort. The welcome was both friendly and professional - as was the departure.
We had a very relaxing stay, and the staff and management contributed to making the stay a great experience by being attentive and friendly and very helpful.
The villa was great with lots of space and direct access to pool. The villa was cleaned perfectly twice a day. Only nuisance was the mosquitoes, which made it nearly impossible to sit outside on the patio at night.
The resort's private beach was also wonderful, beautiful and a great place to relax. Super friendly beach staff.
And saving the best for last: the restaurant: friendly and attentive waiters, fantastic breakfast (we have never had better croissants) and wonderful dinners.

All in all, this resort is highly recommendable and we would love to come back.

My wife and I just returned from a week of pure bliss at the Baoase Luxury Resort in Curacao. We typically like to stay at fine hotels, but the Baoase brought this to a completely new level.

We opted to take the Taxi and VIP service they offer. Well worth the additional funds as our luxurious experience started right at the airport! I've never landed in a foreign country and completely bypassed the long wait at the Customs line. If you're on the fence about this added purchase, TAKE IT! You will thank me later, saving what could be hours waiting in line at the airport.

There is a mixed bag of taxis in the Caribbean, but the Baoase only uses a handful of drivers and luxury must also be maintained by having the most comfortable vehicles available. Our driver was Daniel and he was friendly and informative, and so polite! A cold water was waiting for each of us inside the car as we made our 25 minute drive to the resort.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by many of their staff, who welcomed us by name. This was such a nice touch. Typically, you are just another face upon checkin at a Resort. At the Baoase, this was not the case, and they seemed eager to Welcome us to their home. We were personally greeted by the Manager and given a cold towel to refresh and clean ourselves. Immediately, a cold tropical drink followed with a personal tour of the facility. Along the tour, Welcomes and Smiles warmly greeted us from each person we met. They seemed genuinely pleased that we were there! The grounds are gorgeous and you'll want to explore every inch of them.

It was now time for the introduction to our room. Let me just say that in all my travels, I have NEVER found such luxury. What sold me on this hotel, aside from the fact that it's the Best on the Island and the only 5 Star Resort, was the iconic photo in all their advertising. This is the type of unit we stayed in and let me tell you it was magnificent! Everything was beyond first class. If you can swing the extra, definitely book the Beach Front Pool Suite.

We stayed in #6. From the private pool, to the private beach, to the Sonos music system playing throughout the unit (inside and out), private dining area, OUTDOOR SHOWER and Bathtub(!), everything was sublime.

This was a surprise trip for my wife, as we celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted this trip to be something special. The Baoase did not let us down.

We enjoyed a special gazebo private dinner on the beach our first night, partaking in their 5 Course Surprise menu. It was the most delicious dinner we had on the Island. We consider ourselves "travel foodies" and the Baoase food was simply the best on the Island.

Currently, the resort has just one Restaurant, but it does not let you down. Breakfast was included each morning for us and was delicious. You can partake in their fresh Buffet or order at the table or both! We like to venture out of our hotel for lunch, but since there are no restaurants close to the resort on foot, so we stayed for lunch each day, and were delighted with those too.

The grounds of the resort are lush and tropical and kept magnificently clean. This is not your usual resort with a big pool that everyone sits around, but they do offer chairs (the most comfortable ever) and cabanas to shade yourself from the hot sun. With a private beach, admittedly, we stayed in our unit.

My wife and I like to keep in shape and hit the Gym on our holiday, and a short walk across the street from the resort is the Baoase Gym. Although on the small side and not quite up to par with the rest of the resort, any shortcomings are made up by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

Speaking of staff, I don't think I've found a resort quite like the Baoase before. Each and every one of the staff is friendly, helpful and always willing to go out of their way to assist you. Special requests seem to be the norm here. Whatever you need, they are happy to provide. We truly enjoyed a "Get Together" they threw one night, where we enjoyed complimentary drinks and food, but better yet, a chance to meet the Management. We met the operations manager, who stayed with us for quite a while, the Managers wife and the head chef, plus many others, who were all genuinely friendly.

I could go on and on about the Baoase, but I will simply say in conclusion... if you plan on staying in Curacao, and want the best experience on the Island, possibly the Caribbean, plan your stay at the Baoase Luxury Resort. You will love every minute of it!

This place is breath taking, the natural elements of the resort are truely unique. My husband and I have been traveling the Caribbean for the last 5 years and I have never experienced anything like this. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and lux. The food was the best we had on the island, ate at many other places. We had great service and were surrounded by happy people. Our room was ridiculously perfect and we relaxed more than usual. This might be my favorite place ever, and I cant wait to return.We are a couple traveling but others had children and it works for everyone. I'm not sure how this place got any bad reviews. Food, Service, and accommodations were outstanding.

Unbelievably beautiful gem in Curaçao

I visited last weekend and got so much more than I could have ever expected! From the VIP optional airport pick up and welcome, to the modern take on my Balinese styled villa, the amazing beach, the gourmet food and cocktails, the staff and the owners Jesse and Oli...wow!!! Looking forward to my next (non-business) trip😎😎😎
