Not a Country Inn, Not a B and B
HeathandPamon 15/10/2015 04:59We needed a place to stay and found this place online. Don't let the pictures fool you, its not in the country, its right on the very busy highway, impossible to sleep with so much noise.
The breakfast offered is 2 pieces of bread that you have to make yourself and when you are done you have to wash your dishes.
Don't be fooled, there are many many better places to stay in Fernie.
Not a bed and breakfast,
Carolyn Aon 01/09/2014 18:18Nice house on a busy and noisy road. Place is very clean and beds are very comfortable. However, breakfast is just a bagel and cream cheese in a bag! To call this a B&B is just wrong and very misleading!
B&B...Bed was good...Breakfast not so much
Jenerator800on 13/08/2014 16:44First off...this was probably the cleanest place that we have ever stayed. That said, there is no air conditioning so that meant opening the window to cool it off. Great location however very loud traffic noise which meant not a great sleep. Beds were super comfortable though. Now for breakfast...your choice of two pieces of bread, a bagel or muffin in a brown paper bag with a juice box? Wow! Our 10 year old was shocked.
A great experience
Gordon Con 08/08/2013 19:01For the past twelve years, two of my fly fishing friends and I have fished in the Fernie area. For the past five or six years we have stayed at Barbara Lynn's B&B. It suits our needs perfectly! The rooms are clean, spacious, private, and quiet. A separate living room area is available for our nightly recaps and night caps. Within walking distance several excellent dining facilities exist. Barbara and her husband Knud are friendly, personable, professional, and keen to make our stay pleasant and safe. I highly recommend Barbara Lynn's.
Comfy, cozy and clean
deb784on 30/07/2013 01:51We had the pleasant opportunity to stay at Barbara Lynn's Country Inn on our way back to Calgary via Fernie. After checking out the motorcycles and very expensive hotel rates down the highway, we came across Barbara Lynn's. The accommodations were very clean. We were surprised to find a bagged breakfast for us in the kitchen the next morning which we enjoyed with the coffee provided in our room. Although the rooms were in close proximity to one another, we did not hear any of the other guests, many of whom were up early to participate in a cycling race.
