Has Potential with Paint job and extermination
LaToya Aon 06/07/2017 04:14We checked in on Sunday at Barefoot Yacht Villas 3-103A. I will start with the positives. The condo is very spacious and the resort is beautiful!! However, There was a condom and trash behind the bed, the comforters smelled like URINE, and I killed a cockroach!!! Now I will have to ensure I don't bring any of those pest home with us!!!
The whole unit stinks! Carpet is in need of changing!!! I had to buy air fresheners to be able to sleep in this place! There was food left in the garbage disposal which has caused a gnat issue along with the other creepy crawlers around here. I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the smell and the pest issues. Fix it and this place would be the ideal location for a family vacation.
Family vacation
Arlene Mon 01/07/2017 09:21We are staying at Barefoot Resort , Villa 2 , a 4 bedroom condo on the 9th floor , booked thru Barefoot Resort Vacations. The condo was clean and in great condition, but the bedspreads on the queen beds looked like they had already been slept on. Probably had been taken out of a bag from being laundered. The smaller bedroom with a king bed where we slept was poorly arranged as the over head heat/ air blew extremely cold air right on our heads as we tryed to sleep . The air was loud and a strong force of cold air waking us up to pull covers over our faces until it went back off. We set it on 70 degrees so it wouldn't come on as often . We are looking forward to watching the Barefoot fireworks from our patio on the 4th. I will check w/ Barefoot Vacations tomorrow regarding the air cond.June 30,2017

ryanb131on 06/06/2017 18:38I would highly suggest to look elsewhere. This is a run down, horrible staff, no hospitality company. When we first checked into our villa the A/C did not work. It was on 86 and unbearable. It took 2 calls to have someone come out. They could not fix it and had to call for assistance to come in. While i was on the phone a third time I asked what if the A/C cannot be fixed tonight. The guy over the phone said "Well I guess you will have to get your money back and go some place else". I literally LOL'd on a mid day Friday start of summer in Myrtle Beach. What kind of answer is that?? When we were quickly searching for option B just in case we saw on Booking.com that there was a 2br villa available. So why didn't you just move us? Finally I get another call back explaining that another person had to come out. I just asked to be moved and the woman said yes of course we can do that. So why didn't you just do that in the first place. Now we have to go back to the check in place which is a good 6-7min drive switch keys and then drive even farther to the next condo. Luckily this one was much better but both condos were very run down. Dirty carpets, scuffed walls. Literally every wall was scuffed how is that even possible? Sinks do not properly drain. The next day we find out that we needed a pool key which we never got at check in. So we had to drive again back to the check in area to go get it. We explain to the front desk of our issue, and the response we get was "Just go enjoy the pool". Huh??? You are IN THE HOSPITALITY BUSINESS. At least try to assist us and maybe give us a free beer or something. So much could of been done and NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER CARED! There are so many other places to go and I am sure never to come back here again.
Golf weekend
chris bon 03/05/2017 21:09This condo was a great place to stay. Stayed in building 3. Plenty of room and a great location. Went with a large group for a golf weekend and really exceeded my expectations. Only problem was the broken ice machine!
Great getaway!
Gina Bon 26/04/2017 22:20Went for the weekend with a friend and loved this place. Very peaceful but still close to the shops at Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, Tanger Outlet and more. Also near a lot of restaurants. Very reasonable.
