Small and Friendly

San Stephanos is son excellent resort, and Barras apartments are well located with everything nearby ... baker, supermarket, restaurants, beach. It's a small. Complex with a very good pool and pleasant bar / restaurant. The rooms are a little basic, but certainly adequate ... cleaned every day but Sunday. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had an excellent holiday.

The Barras is a budget well run hotel with clean large rooms, George the owner and his staff are very helpful and its located bang in the middle of all the food outlets, bars etc with a nice long child friendly beach, a very chilled quiet resort for families and friends.

Stayed 21st July to the 4th of August .The cost of air con is 40 euros a week.Safety deposit cost us 10 euros for the 2 weeks with the 80 euros for the air con.A large mythos beer will cost you 2.80 euros and a kopenberg cider 4 euros.The food and service at the restaurant is still excellent.Best food out with the Barras was the beachcomer highly recommend.Had a great stay and hopefully return in the future.

Good traditional restaurant, worth a visit

Visited Barras for a meal on our first night in San Stefanos and were happy with the quality and cost of what was on offer. Good location in the village and the hotel itself looks good too. Friendly staff and good if not particularly speedy service, but hey we were on holiday !! Would certainly return.

IDEAL LOCATION

Stayed at Barras Apartments at end of June 2017 and had a fantastic holiday. We arrived quite late at night after a delayed flight and were greeted by the owner and shown to where our room was. This was basic but cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen every couple of days. We ate at the restaurant twice and could not fault the food - it was delicious and all the staff were extremely friendly.
Tried quite a few of the restaurants in San Stef. and never had a bad meal at any of them so you'll be spoilt for choice. Many had tribute acts performing during the week which were o.k if you like that kind of thing but a lot had traditional Greek dancing as well.
On the whole I would definitely return to San Stef. and stay at this hotel. It's a lovely area with a fantastic beach about 10 mins stroll away.
