blureggon 02/06/2017 05:52Location: in the heart of Kiel City, shopping street behind the hotel. 10 min walk to main train station.
The room and toilet are clean. TV programs are in German only. No toiletries except toilet paper and no kettle. However you can get water from reception during breakfast. Breakfast is simple, cereal, bread, cheese, hams, coffee, juice and fruits.
The wifi is available in the room, the strength is good. However, during my stay, the wifi was down. After telling the reception, nothing much was done.
Real basic for basic price

But clean room good bed OWN bathroom and toilet including good buffet breakfast for low basic price. Located in middle of Kiel, walking distace to shops bars and restaurants. Just good place for 1 or 2 night visit in Kiel.
Great value foir money
Lise Aon 16/07/2014 16:50I have been staying in this little hotel a number of times when in Kiel. It is very centrally located and has a car parking deal with the near-by Karstadt Shopping centre.
There are different sized rooms, and at the time being they are being renovated. The twin bed rooms are the most spacious ones. Some are facing a large square, some the other way overlooking the back of some buildings, and either way will give you a good night's sleep, there isn't much noise. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have a shower cabin, and hair dryers are provided.
Breakfast is included, you take what you want from a large table and then seat yourself at smaller tables. The display of the food items could not have been made better! It is clean, varied, good tasting and abundant. I can really recommend this hotel!
As for shops and restaurants, you don't have to walk more than 100m, then you are in the middle of them.
Nice hotel with good location
ma24on 07/10/2013 11:38Very nice service, clean, good location in the senter of Kiel. Small, but nice rooms. Only minus for because we travelld with a baby- it was no elevator. But it was no problem to put the trolly at the resepcion. Good breakfast buffet. Good price.
The worse Hotel!
Human-84on 04/10/2012 10:40We wanted a place to stay for 2 nights... And by we I mean my big family which need all in all 4 rooms. All the four rooms were dirty, well more like extremely dirty! We have a 3 months old baby with us and I couldn't let him sleep in our bed... Flakes are everywhere, the toilets were never cleaned... rusted... well horrible! We chose this hotel because of the location... which was good... but when we chose it we also thought it would be basic... So we weren't expecting any fantasy hotel but there is a minimum of hygiene...
I have also asked when reserving for a room where I could add a baby bed in it... the rooms where too small... almost no place for a baby bed. It was simply a disaster! Never again!!! NEVER!
