Great place, just about perfect
Michael Won 10/08/2017 21:07If you want to spend a couple of nights in Saratoga Springs, then this is the place to stay. Majestic, beautiful and comfortable. Our room was nice and spacious. Maybe the only thing that wasn't perfect is that at night, I couldn't get the air conditioner to make it as cool in the room as we would have liked. The location is a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town and they have private parking so we didn't have to move the car other than for dinner or the track. We had breakfast the next morning and it was also very nice. Hopefully we come back some day.

Jill Aon 06/08/2017 17:40My husband and I stayed at the Batchellor Mansion for 2 nights and we felt like we were staying in a museum. We stayed in the Maria Pia room on the third floor. The room was beautifully decorated to the era but still with the modern day extras; TV and air conditioning. Upon checking in the caretaker gave us a tour of the house and told us of the incredible history and guest (presidents, kings, queens, etc) who had stayed there dating back to the 1800's. Breakfast was very good with homemade french toast casserole and scrumptious egg cups. The house is in a perfect location away from the hustle and bustle of town but just a 5 minute walk through the beautiful Congress park and you are there.

toniabrowneon 04/08/2017 21:23I saw the hotel on the website and fell in love. Everything was just as I envisioned it. The mansion was the perfect bed and breakfast. The common rooms were beautiful and the bedrooms roomy and clean. I would highly recommend the property and it was very close to the racetrack and to town. Can't wait to go back!!!
Perfect Getaway - Comfortable, quiet, and close to everything!
Laura Won 28/07/2017 14:52We were pleasantly surprised at just how much we enjoyed our stay at the Batcheller Mansion Inn. Accommodations were exquisite with A/C, flat screen TV's and comfortable beds. With 18 ft. ceilings and furniture and decor dating back to the 1800's, you felt thrown back in time and fully immersed in the rich history of Saratoga Springs. Get Doug, the caretaker, to give you a tour of the Mansion. He is intelligent and knowledgeable of the time period and artifacts on display in the mansion. Close walk to town shopping, parks and museums. We even walked to Skidmore College to see the Art Museum there.

The stay there made a great weekend even better. Everyone , including the other guests were so pleasant and accommodating.
