Very good for the money....
ladytexan2014on 14/08/2017 23:36It was the first time I had stayed at a Motel 6. I had reservations about the chain, but tried one anyway. It was the Motel 6 just outside the Battelgrounds and was a very good experience. The Receptionist was very nice and helpful both days. No breakfast, but the coffee was delicious. For a thrifty nights stay, I recommend this property.

Jeff con 05/08/2017 02:08Two night stay on trip from Chicago to Louisiana. Received a great welcome when checking in. Clean room. Great a/c. Friendly staff. A great rest and two good nights sleep after a long drive. Will be back on future trips.
Good Motel 6 experience - very close to Battlefield/National Park
Eric Bon 03/08/2017 19:41The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly. WiFi was free and worked well. The entrance to the Vicksburg National Military Park is just down the hill. Would stay there again.
Needed a break
Debi Bon 07/07/2017 03:50Needed to take a break from driving home from Texas. Super 8 was almost 70.00 n motel 6 was 43.00 for king non smoking.
It's an older hotel, needs plumbing up dated, but it's clean, quiet, Jasmine waited on us and she was awesome!
They have a pool and my hubby and I took a dip.
As you can see from the pizza boxes we got food delivered, but there are several restaurants around here.
If you are doing a lot of driving and you make it to Vicksburg MS stop on end. See if they left the light on for you😊
Great bed and TV, Older hotel plumbing
RFoley44on 21/06/2017 19:29This is a great location for the Vicksburg National Military Park only a block or 2 away. This seemed to be an older hotel that Motel 6 bought and fixed up. The bed and TV were updated and great. The plumbing was old and not updated. The hot and cold water knobs take quite a bit of adjustments to get the right temperature. The towels were small and few as is normal at Motel 6. In all, it was a great value for the price. One note is that the museum across from the parking lot is decorative but no longer open. Still the museum and the cannons out from give it some flavor.
